🏳Surrender 🏳

You will continue to sense a void in your life until the Holy Spirt heals you from within, your emotions become whole, and you surrender every hurt to foot of the cross. Jesus made you to be complete only through Him. God is the only One that can heal us of our natural emotions but this type of healing will cost us getting out of our own way! As long as we are in charge God’s power can’t fully flow through our lives. Psalm 9:10 says, “And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.” When we surrender by seeking God, the scripture above is saying He can be found and not only that He will restore. If we chose to alienate ourselves from God, He will bring us to a place where we are totally dependent and totally surrendered upon his leading. God desire for us that we live a Spirit controlled life and not a flesh controlled life. Most people live independently of the Holy Spirit every day. They never give it a second thought. We need to realize that we have no one else to turn to. Dependence and surrender go hand in hand. We can’t fully surrender our will until we are convinced we are in a hopeless situation. Sadly, as long as we see a way out, we will generally opt for it. Look at from this perspective; you can’t help a drowning man until he stops trying to help himself. He will pull you under and both of you will drown. With that being said, are you ready to surrender? What is it that you are holding on to? How long are you going to keep fighting God? John 3:30 says, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” You have no idea what God will do through your life when you completely surrender your life to Jesus!
