Because of love Christ died for His enemy and He would do it again because He is love! Look at what Paul said in Colossians 1:21, “This includes you who were once far away from God. You were his enemies, separated from Him by your evil thoughts and act.” Now flip to I Thessalonians 5:10, “Christ died for us so that, whether we are dead or alive when he returns, we can live with him forever.” In Christ we went from an enemy of God to beloved of God. What more can we ask for?
