Prayer is conversation with the Lord, our God, Jesus Christ and when we listen to His responses, prayer provides the bases for communication. In our southern colloquialism, communication rules the nation. We we lack communication, then we are relationship is weaken and can eventually become non-existent. We must keep our only channel that ushers us into the presence of the Lord open and fluid.
Try this simple prayer format:
Dear Lord,
I come before Your presence asking for Your ears to be inclined to hear my prayers. There is nothing more important to me than to be ushered into your presence. I have nothing in my heart that You don’t already know. You are the great and awesome God, God of Heaven, one who preserves all Your loving kindness and the greatness of Your compassion for those who love You are keepers of Your commandments, please let thine eyes be opened and ears attentive to hear our words!

Thank you Father God for loving us and responding to our prayers. We thank you in advance and receive Your blessings and provisions in our hearts. Your word will never return void and if we have found favor in Your sight, please show us a sign in our hearts through the power of the Holy Spirit that works in us…in Jesus’ name…amen!
