We are all acutely nearsighted when it comes to recognizing Christ’s finished work in us. The truest Christian dilemma is to know who Christ is and who we are in Christ. Part of our TRANSFORMATION process is simply understanding that we cannot remain as we were and enter into the presence of a holy God. We must “die” to self and be “hidden” in the righteousness of Christ. Unfortunately people undoubtedly see what they use to be however and conversely; God no longer sees our imperfections; He sees the righteousness of His own Son instead, (Ephesians 2:13; Hebrews 8:12). Because we are in Christ, God sees Christ’s righteousness covering us. So today remember last year ended last year, yesterday ended last night, today is a new day, and your greatest blessing is always in front of you!
