As God’s children it’s incumbent upon us to live our faith out loud by stepping out of our comfort zone; in lieu of saying, “I’ll pray for you”, stop what you’re doing and pray for that person. Pray aloud! I get it, sometimes it can be unnerving to pray publicly because the first question that pops in your head is, “what do I say?” Don’t worry about the words because God will give you the words to say. If you feel God tugging you to offer an encouraging word; just do it! Don’t worry about if the person will receive it. If God said to do it; trust and believe something great will happen. Check out what God said to Jeremiah just before his prophetic reign in Chp. 1:9, “Then the LORD reached out and touched my mouth and said, “Look, I have put my words in your mouth!”
This message is not intended to condemn, ridicule, or point religious fingers, more so than it is to encourage everyone to step out of the shadows of doubt, fear, and ambiguity. Romans 1:16-17 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.”
