God spoke in Genesis chapter 1 and He created the backdrop for both heaven and earth. God later filled the earth with landscape, vegetation, water, animals, reptiles etc. But in Chp 2:7 there was a game changer; He silently and intricately formed man from the dust of the ground and then breathed life into the nostrils of man. Life for man came to be only after God exhaled His Holy breath into Man’s lifeless conglomeration of chemicals and minerals aka dirt. You missed it, didn’t you? God spoke all life but He breathed life into humanity. God literally imparted enough of His own nature to give us life. The power of God’s breath that created life for Adam is the same breath that lives in you. So today remember the first breath you inhaled wasn’t because the doctor tapped you on your begonia rather it was because God chose to exhale His breath in you so that you may have life.
