The art of chess strategy is knowing how to formulate a plan for the chess game, and arrange your chess pieces to accomplish this plan. The two most important principles to follow is the center occupation and central control. Following these principal strategies will position the King castled into safety. Looking back in time God was always two steps or more ahead of His adversary or opponent; Jesus was always at the Center in God’s plan to rescue humanity from the bondage of sin and death. This view point is called the “Christocentric Principle” of biblical understanding. Simply put, it means that everything we know about God, angels, Satan, human hopes, and the whole universe is best understood when viewed in relationship to Jesus Christ. So today remember while playing the game of chess (aka) life to keep Christ the Center of your life. “Christ [the Center] is before all things, and in Christ all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17
