Trump suggests boycotting Starbucks over the red cup buzz? He is over the top; for real!! I admit it was fun to bandwagon this initiative . However, I got to thinking, the cup is the message. Red is symbolic of Jesus’ blood that would be shared for a sinner like me. What’s funny is how a few of our clergy men and women responded to the challenge. Some even started using Ebonics for the first time! At the end of the day the value of an opinion is only valuable to the person stating it; no one is 100% right. There is a little bit of right and wrong in each us. Starbucks, my suggestion is to offer a sticker option and allow your customers to choose which sticker they want represented on their red cup…..just a thought!
