Is your lifestyle and mindset ready for what you prayed for? You can’t take on new responsibility (blessings) with old order (habits). For example, you asked God for a husband or a wife but what does your present lifestyle reflect? You asked God for a promotion but what does your work ethic reflect? You ask for financial increase but does your bank statements reflect financial discipline? Whenever a mother learns that she is pregnant, the first thing she does is change her lifestyle mentally, physically, and spiritually. Paul cites in Col 3:9-10 “Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.” 
Pray with me: God, I ask that you change my mindset. Give me the strength, wisdom, and courage to change my lifestyle. I no longer want to be bound by the old man’s mindset. I am tired of doing it my way; I want to do it Your way. I desire the blessings you have in stored for me. Therefore, I surrender until you; renew my mind and transform me that I may walk in that which you have purposed for me. In Jesus’ Name, amen!
