Choose love today and don’t allow small stuff to pull you down nor get the best of you! Ducks can’t soar like eagle nor can eagles swim like ducks. However, they were design to thrive in their own environment. Similarly, we too were designed to thrive in the environment of love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Gal 5:22-23). It so easy to hate but it takes strength, discipline, and perseverance to love the unlovable in others. However, when you sit back and think about it doesn’t God love the unlovable in you?? Love your neighbor as yourself is what we have commissioned to do (Mark 12:31). Everyone is created in God’s image. So if we are worthy of love, so is everyone else because of who made them. Because of sin, we’re all really unlovable. But Christ changed the rules by offering love, grace and forgiveness (Romans 5:8). If God can love us, surely we can love those around us.
