Well, Jesus gave us the βhow-toβ in Matthew 6:6 (MSG] and He said, βHereβs what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you wonβt be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The [Your] focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace.β In other translation we are instructed to pray in our βinner roomsβ. The Greek used here for βπ ‘π π π β is tameion, which means “an inner storage chamber or a secret room. Youβre quiet place might be a daily commute, a bench in the back yard, or the kitchen table. Simply put, a quiet non-babbling prayer, directed at God and not passers-by, will reap spiritual blessings. Furthermore, any act, be it praying, giving, or serving, should not be done for the purpose of gaining approval from others. Praying, giving, and serving should always be responses to our π ‘π π π π £π π π π ’π π π with π π π and the grace He pours in and through our lives!!
