Growth always comes when you are knocked down, discouraged, disavowed, disarmed, dismantled, disconnected, discontent, disillusioned, and at a place of dysfunction. I want you to remember that when you find yourself in the pit of these disparities, you’ll always find the Pit-Master!
My brothers and sisters, 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 reminds us that, “We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.”
So today, if you are in the ‘pit’cof one or more of the disparities listed above don’t forget you’re not alone! The Pit-Master does the most amazing things through our brokenness! Psalm 40:2 says,”He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure.”
