In times of distress, uncertainty, and trouble, we can draw immense peace, strength, and comfort from the scriptures, which remind us of God’s relentless, indefatigable, unwavering presence, providence, protection, and promises . Psalm 46:1 reminds us that, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” This verse assures us that no matter what we face, God is there, ready to offer refuge and strength.
Isaiah 41:10 also offers encouragement: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” This powerful promise from God reassures us that we need not fear, for He is with us, ready to uphold and support us with His righteous hand.
Let’s keep it 💯, Peter was the first and only human being to walk on water, but he was not the only one to sink/ fall in the presence of God. In the 14th chapter of the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus said, “Come.” And Peter left the boat and walked on the water to Jesus. But when Peter saw the wind and the waves, he became afraid and began to sink. He shouted, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught Peter.
My brothers and sisters, when we face challenges, bottlenecks, and obstacles remember that God’s hand is always extended low enough to pull us out of the depth of the seas of our sorrow and pain to save us!! Proverbs 18:10: “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.” This scripture highlights the safety and security found in God’s presence.
I ask that you allow this intentional word of encouragement to permeate your entire being and let these scriptures be a reminder that God’s hand is always there to save us. He is our help, refuge, our strength, and our ever-present help in times of trouble. Trust in His presence, promises, providence, protection, and find peace in His everlasting love, comfort, and strength!
We have hope and hope has a Name and His Name is Jesus!
