Mended Hearts ๐Ÿ’”

In times of heartbreak and sorrow, remember that God is the ultimate healer. Just as a master craftsman can restore a shattered vase, God can mend our broken hearts with His boundless love, mercy, comfort, and grace.

No matter how many pieces your heart is in, you must place every piece in God’s hands. Psalm 147:3 reminds us that, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Undoubtedly, God sees the entirety of your pain and knows the exact path to your restoration. All He ask us to do is to trust in His plan and let His love fill the cracks and crevices left by the hurt, pain, and disappointment.

Psalm 34:18 confirms, โ€œThe Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” So, when we feel overwhelmed by the weight of our sorrows, itโ€™s incumbent for us to remember that Godโ€™s presence is closest in our weakest, darkest, and distant moments. We must choose to cleave and lean on Him, and He promises to give us the strength to carry on and the courage to hope again.

My brothers and sisters, God personally invites His beloved children to lay all of their burdens at His feet. In His embrace, you will find the unshakable peace and undisturbed rest that your soul longs for. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, โ€œCome to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.โ€ At the end of the day, despite the stage of your brokenness, we must all believe in Godโ€™s promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and let His love restore, repair, and mend our hearts back to fullness and wholeness. God can restore a broken and shattered heart, but He needs all the pieces. Henceforth, God’s restoration literally entails taking all of the broken pieces and making them better than they were before.

If I am speaking to you today, I pray these redeeming words bring you comfort and remind you of God’s unending love and unfailing healing power.
