Life Lessons…

Today, let’s boldly acknowledge with honesty that we often wish we could turn back the hands of time and erase the mistakes we’ve made, as if doing so would bring us closer to a perfect life. But if we did, we would also erase the valuable lessons those mistakes taught us. Every misstep, every wrong turn, has played a part in shaping who we are today. These experiences, though painful at times, have given us the wisdom and strength that guide us now.
God doesn’t ask us to live without error; He knows that we are grossly imperfect. Instead, He invites us to bring our mistakes to Him, to learn from them, and to grow in His grace. It’s through our weaknesses that His strength is most evident. When we stumble, He is there to lift us up, turning our failures into opportunities for growth.
God’s classic response to Paul’s thorn related issues was recorded in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
My brothers and sisters, our mistakes are not a life sentence; they are stepping stones on the path to becoming who God has called us to be. So instead of dwelling on past errors, let’s focus on the wisdom we’ve gained. Let’s remember that God’s grace covers all, and His power is made perfect in our weakness (es).
Prayer with me:
Father God, thank You for the lessons learned through my mistakes. Help me to see them as opportunities for growth rather than burdens to carry. Remind me that Your grace is sufficient and that Your strength is made perfect in my weakness. Guide me on the path You have set before me, and let my past serve as a testimony of Your love and faithfulness. In Jesus matchless grace giving name, Amen and Amen and Amen!
