Tomorrow Isn’t Promised!

If Proverbs 27:1 says, “Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth”, why do so many people live like tomorrow is guaranteed to them?!

Indisputably, time is fleeting, life is fragile, and each day we have to live on this planet is a gift from God. We often make plans for the future and unfortunately some of us harbor unforgiveness and resentment assuming that tomorrow is guaranteed. But Scripture reminds us that our days are numbered and tomorrow isn’t promised. This isn’t meant to instill fear but to encourage us to live fully in the present.

My brothers and sisters, today is the only day we are assured of, so let us use it wisely. Always show kindness, extend grace, forgive quickly, and love deeply. Spend time with God, seek His will, and let your actions reflect His love. Live in God’s redemptive grace and with eternity in mind, cherishing every moment as an opportunity to serve Him and others.

Instead of worrying about what tomorrow holds, trust in God’s plan and make the most of the time you have today.
