Regrettably, life often brings us to moments where the road ahead seems uncertain, unclear, and we feel overwhelmed by the weight of our struggles. In these moments, it can feel like we are standing in the middle of an insurmountable storm, unsure of how to move nor press forward. But remember this: God did not bring you this far to abandon you.
In moments like these Deuteronomy 31:8 gives us this assurance, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
The Bible repeatedly reminds us that God is faithful. He is not surprised by our hardships, nor is He absent in them. As He led the Israelites through the wilderness, He leads us today through the deserts and valleys of our own lives. The same God who parted the Red Sea and provided manna from heaven is the One who stands by you now.
There may be times when the path forward seems invisible—when you’re unsure how healing, provision, or peace will come. Yet, God promises that He will make a way, even when there seems to be no way. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and His plans are beyond what we can comprehend. Our job is not to understand every step, but to trust the One who orders our steps.
My beloved brothers and sisters, no one is immune to hardships, difficulties, and unexpectedness. Therefore, whenever you find yourself in the middle of an arduous battle, remind yourself that God’s presence is with you. You are not walking this journey alone. Take time to pray and ask God to show you His way through your challenges. Even when the path is unclear, trust in His perfect timing and plan.
Additionally and lastly, I invite you to reflect on the times God has already led you through hard situations. His faithfulness in the past is a testament to His faithfulness today and in the future. Also, remember God did not bring you this far to leave you or forsake you. Things might be hard for you to handle, but God will still make away. He is always working behind the scenes, orchestrating things for your good and His glory.
Pray with me:
Most High God, thank You for Your faithfulness. Even when the road is difficult and unclear, I trust that You are with me, guiding me through every challenge. Help me to rely on Your strength and not my own. I believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus’ name, amen and amen and amen!
