Let us pray:
Elohim Shomri, we come humbly before You, lifting up President-elect Donald Trump as he prepares to lead. We ask, Lord, that You place a mighty hedge of protection around him, surrounding him with Your angels and guarding him from all harm. Shield him from anything that could hinder or endanger him, whether physical, spiritual, mental, psychological, or emotional.
Abba Father, we pray that You protect his heart and mind. In the midst of pressures, challenges, and responsibilities, grant him peace and focus that only You can provide. Let his mind be filled with Your wisdom, his heart with compassion, and his words with truth. Lead him to make decisions that will honor You, and may he seek Your guidance above all else.
As it is written in Daniel 2:21, “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” We acknowledge that You, Lord, are the ultimate authority, and it is by Your will that leaders are raised up. We pray that You would grant him wisdom and understanding as he steps into this role for the second time, in alignment with Your will, plan, and purpose.
Surround him with cabinet advisors who walk in integrity and are committed to serving the people of America with honor and humility. Give him discernment to recognize wise counsel and the strength to make tough choices for the good of the nation. Where there is division, we ask that You guide him to be a light and an instrument of unity and healing.
We pray against any evil forces, influences, or schemes that seek to bring harm or discord. May Your protection be a fortress around him, granting him resilience and courage. Lord, cover him and his family, and may Your hand be upon them in every step of this journey.
Above all, Father, let Your will be done. Lead him, guide him, and use him to serve as an instrument of Your purpose. We place him in Your hands, trusting fully in Your wisdom, Your power, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen and Amen, and Amen!
