Life often feels like walking through a maze—twists, turns, and decisions at every corner. We long to know the right path, but sometimes it’s unclear. The verse below reminds us that God is not only our Creator but also our Teacher. He longs to guide us into His will, not by force but through His Spirit’s gentle leading.
Psalm 143:10 says, “Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.”
Undoubtedly, to seek His will is to acknowledge our dependence on Him. It’s not just about finding the right answers but developing a heart that is teachable, humble, and surrendered. God’s will is not always about what we do but about who we become—transformed into the likeness of Christ.
When we ask God to teach us, we invite Him into our plans, our decisions, and even our struggles. His Spirit leads us, not to chaos, but to “level ground”—a place of clarity, peace, and purpose.
My brothers and sisters, applying this word of encouragement calls for a life rooted in prayer and God’s Word. Each day, we must seek the Lord’s help to surrender our own desires and align our hearts with His purpose for our lives.
Pray with me:
Father God, You are my God, and I trust in You. Teach me to do Your will, for I know that Your plans are greater than mine. Guide me by Your Spirit, and lead me on level ground where I can walk securely in Your truth. Help me to surrender my fears, desires, and doubts to You. May Your will be done in my life, for Your glory and my good. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen and Amen!
