The Power Of The Cross!

The power of the cross is a profound reminder that my worth, salvation, and purpose do not rest on my efforts or achievements but on the finished work of Christ. It is not by my strength, my wisdom, or my righteousness that I am redeemed, but by the grace of God poured out through the sacrifice of His Son (Ephesians 2:8).

Yet, the beauty of the cross does not stop at what Christ has done for me—it continues in what He desires to do through me. His victory becomes the source of my strength, His love becomes the fuel for my compassion, and His Spirit becomes the guide for my daily walk. The cross not only saved and sealed me until the day of redemption, but it also transforms me, empowering me to live as a vessel of His grace and glory in a broken and dying world.

When I surrender my striving and embrace His finished work, I realize that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is alive in me. As Paul writes in Galatians 2:20, “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

My brothers and sisters, the cross calls us to step into His purpose, to reflect His love, and to share the hope that only Christ can bring. Our live are no longer defined by what we can accomplish, but by what Christ has already accomplished and is still accomplishing through each and every one of us!

This is the mystery and majesty of the cross: it humbles me, saves me, and sends me. All glory to Christ alone!

Pray with me:

Lord Jesus, I thank You for the power of the cross. Thank You for loving me so deeply that You gave Your life to redeem me. Help me to stop striving for what has already been accomplished by Your sacrifice. Teach me to rest in Your grace and to live in the fullness of the freedom You’ve given me.

Lord, let Your power work not just in me, but through me. Transform my heart to reflect Your love, guide my steps to follow Your will, and use me as a vessel for Your glory. May my life point others to the hope and salvation that are found in You alone.

I surrender my life, my plans, and my strength to You, knowing that through the cross, You have already provided everything I need. Strengthen me by Your Spirit to live boldly for You. In Your name, I pray, believe, and praise—Amen and Amen and Amen.
