Work In Progress!

We are all a work in progress (“WIP”), and our life’s journey is filled with opportunities for growth, transformation, and refinement. Sometimes, we are excited about where we are in life, but there are also times when it’s easy to feel discouraged when we fall short or struggle with challenges. However, in those fleeting moments, it’s important to remember that God is not finished with us yet. He is constantly shaping us, teaching us, and molding us into the people He created us to be.

Philippians 1:6 affirms, “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Like a potter working with clay, He sees our potential and patiently refines us, even when we feel broken or incomplete. Isaiah 64:8 reminds us, “Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” Every trial, every lesson, and every blessing is part of His process of shaping us into His image.

If you ever feel like you’re not where you want to be, take heart—God is still at work. Trust in His timing, lean on His grace, and know that He will complete the good work He has started in you. In fact, it is already done; you are simply waiting for time to catch up with destiny.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for working on me. Even when I don’t see it, I trust that You are refining, redefining, and shaping me. Help me to see Your good work, to be patient with the process, and to trust in Your perfect plan. Strengthen my faith and guide me as I continue to grow in You. In Jesus name, I pray, believe, and praise. Amen, Amen, and Amen.
