Run To Jesus!

Sometimes we’re so ashamed of ourselves, we assume Jesus must be too. But He’s not. He knew you’d struggle. He knew you’d make mistakes, go down the wrong paths, and face seasons of hardship. And He still chose the cross for you. Hebrews 12:2 affirms this truth: “Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

Jesus didn’t wait for you to get it all together or for you to be perfect. He died for you in the middle of your mess. So don’t run from Him because of guilt or shame. Run to Him. That’s where grace and mercy meet you.
That’s where forgiveness begins.

Romans 5:8 confirms this truth: “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Beloved of God, I want to remind you that God’s gift is free, and it’s for you—no matter where you are, no matter what you’ve done, or how far you think you’ve gone. Jesus stands at the door of your heart, waiting for you to open it. He’s not waiting for you to get cleaned up first—He wants to meet you right where you are.

If that’s you, pray this prayer:

Lord God, I come before You today, unsure but open. I’ve heard about Your love and Your grace, and I’m ready to trust in Your free gift of salvation. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and that He rose again to give me new life. Help me to accept Your love and walk with You from this day forward. Forgive me, heal me, and lead me in Your perfect way. I choose to run to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
