But God!

Today’s Declaration:
“It looked like the end… But God had another plan.”

Our Scripture Focus comes out of Psalm 73:26: “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”

Life has a way of confronting us with moments we never expected. Diagnoses. Disappointments. Delays. Doors closed without warning. The weight of it all can make us feel like we’re nearing the end of our strength.

But that’s when God steps in. You see, the Bible is full of “But God” moments—divine interruptions where the story was headed one way, but heaven rewrote the ending:

• Joseph was betrayed and sold into slavery—but God used it to save a nation (Genesis 50:20).
• We were dead in our sins—but God, rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ (Ephesians 2:4-5).
• Jesus was crucified and buried—but God raised Him on the third day (Acts 13:30).

These two words carry resurrection power. They remind us that the final word doesn’t belong to circumstances, doctors, emotions, or even our own fears. God has the last word.

So when you find yourself stretched thin—when the treatment is uncertain, the road feels long, or the pain won’t let up—let this truth anchor your soul:

“But God is with me.”
“But God is still working.”
“But God is greater than all of this.”

My beloved brothers and sisters, you may not see the full picture yet, but you are not alone in the process. God is moving behind the scenes, and He never wastes a single tear, trial, or prayer.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for being my strength when I am weak, my hope when I feel hopeless, and my peace in the middle of chaos. Thank You that even when things don’t go the way I hoped, You are still working all things together for my good. I declare today—But God! My story isn’t over. You are still writing it, and You are faithful. Give me the faith to keep walking, the patience to keep trusting, and the joy to keep praising—even in the waiting. I know You are with me, and that makes all the difference. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise! Amen.
