Beyond Deserving!

Even on my worst day, I am still blessed beyond deserving. You know sometimes, when I pause and really look at my life — I can’t help but say: “God, You have blessed me far beyond what I deserve.”

The truth is, none of us can truly earn the goodness God pours into our lives. His blessings aren’t payment for good behavior; they are expressions of His endless mercy, His unchanging love, and His extravagant grace.

Scripture reminds us in James 1:17 that, “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

God doesn’t bless us because we are perfect — He blesses us because He is perfectly good. When we are faithless, He remains faithful. When we fall short, His grace covers the gap. When we fail, He forgives, cleanses, and restores.

Every breath we take, every door He opens, every moment of peace, every provision, every answered and even unanswered prayer — it’s all His undeserving grace. All of it!

We are not blessed because we are worthy; we are blessed because He is so abundantly wonderful. And the right response to undeserved blessings—is unwavering gratitude, humility, praise, and worship.

My brothers and sisters, I invite you to take a moment to thank God — not just for the big things, but for the everyday grace and mercies we often—unfortunately overlook.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for blessing me far more than I deserve. Thank You for Your mercy, Your kindness, and Your faithfulness in my life. I humble my heart before You today. Teach me to live every day in awe of Your goodness and to steward Your blessings with unwavering gratitude, humility, praise, and worship. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
