Knees Down!

The world tells us to, “Man up!” Push through. Tough it out. Don’t cry. Don’t show weakness. But I say: Kneel down. Because real strength doesn’t come from grit — it comes from God. And powerful men know that prayer isn’t our last resort — it’s our first response.

Additionally, the world teaches us to rely on money, muscle, pride, and hustle. But the Kingdom calls us to rely on faith, obedience, surrender, humility, and prayer.

James 5:16b confirms, “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

Men of God, prayer doesn’t make you soft — it makes you solid. It aligns your heart with God’s. It sharpens your vision. It humbles your ego. And it unlocks power this world can’t explain.

David wasn’t strong because he had a slingshot or because he wrestled with lions and bears. He was strong because he had a secret place with God. Jesus didn’t flip tables out of rage — He flipped them out of holy authority, after withdrawing to pray.

No cap, real men don’t just lift weights or stack paper — they bend their knees and lift their voices to heaven.

So the next time someone tells you to man up…Remember: knees down, hands raised, heart open — that’s where courage arises and giants fall.

Pray with me:
Father God, make me a man of prayer. Teach me to kneel before You before I ever try to stand against anything else. Strip away the pride, the posturing, and the pressure — and fill me with the strength that only comes from Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, recevie, and praise. Amen.
