Tables Turn!

Sometimes it feels like your prayers are hitting the ceiling. Like you’re crying out to God, but nothing’s shifting. You’ve been faithful in the secret place, sowing seeds of prayer when no one else was watching—and still, the breakthrough hasn’t come. But hear this today: your prayers are working, and the tables will turn.

The enemy wants you to believe that prayer is pointless. That it’s wasted breath. But Scripture tells a different story. James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” Heaven hears you. God is not ignoring you—He’s moving in ways you can’t always see.

There’s a turning point coming. The same God who raised Lazarus after four days, who opened Sarah’s womb in old age, who set Joseph at Pharaoh’s table after prison—He is the same God who hears your prayers today. Don’t mistake silence for inactivity. God is working in the waiting, preparing a table in the presence of your enemies, just like Psalm 23:5 promises. You don’t have to force anything—just stay faithful.

There will come a moment when the “no” turns to “yes,” the closed door swings open, and the pain gives way to purpose. That moment is not just possible—it’s promised. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Keep praying. Keep trusting. The tables are turning.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You that You hear every prayer I lift to You—spoken and unspoken. When I feel discouraged, remind me that You’re working even when I don’t see it. Strengthen my faith in the waiting, and help me to keep praying with expectation. I believe that what looks impossible to me is still possible with You. I trust You to turn the tables in my favor, not for my glory, but for Yours. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
