At His Feet!

In a world obsessed with platforms, titles, viral statuses, and social recognition, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind if you’re not climbing higher. But here’s the truth the Spirit keeps whispering: If the highest place I reach is at the feet of Jesus—then I’ve made it. Because that’s where real greatness lives. That’s where peace, power, and purpose collide.

Luke 10:39 tells us about Mary, who “sat at the Lord’s feet listening to what He said.” While her sister Martha and others were busy performing, Mary chose presence over pressure. She understood something the crowd didn’t: the feet of Jesus is the place of clarity, rest, and revelation. It’s the posture of surrender—and in surrender, we find strength.

If I never make it to the top of someone else’s list… if I never go viral, get promoted, or hear my name called in a room full of people—it’s okay. Because being found at the feet of Jesus is the highest honor a soul can carry. That’s where burdens are lifted. That’s where direction becomes clear. That’s where grace flows freely and healing begins.

So beloved, don’t chase stages over stillness. Don’t crave applause over intimacy. If all you ever do is bow low before your Savior and hear Him say, “You chose what is better,” that’s not a loss—it’s a legacy.

Pray With Me:

Lord Jesus, remind me that the highest place I can reach is at Your feet. In a world full of striving, center my heart in surrender. Let me choose presence over performance, worship over worry, and stillness over status. Help me not to measure success by applause, but by intimacy with You. May I never forget that all I truly need is found at Your feet. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
