PRAY FOR THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY!

Merciful and Mighty God,

Today we lift up the Texas Hill Country to You, a region beloved and beautiful, now bearing the wounds of catastrophe. The floodwaters have rushed through homes, through hearts, and through history, leaving loss in their wake. Yet we know You are the God who sees every tear, hears every cry, and holds every soul.

We remember those who have passed—fathers, mothers, children, neighbors—swept away too soon. Their absence leaves an ache no words can fill, but we ask that Your comfort would cover every grieving family. Let Your presence be felt in hospital rooms, in living rooms, and in shelters—anywhere hearts are breaking. May they find peace not in answers, but in You, the One who is near to the brokenhearted.

We cry out for those who are still missing. Be their hiding place, Lord. Guide searchers with divine wisdom and bring hope to those waiting by their cell phones or standing by the riverbanks. For every displaced family, every home now lost or underwater, we pray for swift restoration—physically, emotionally, mentally, psychologically, and spiritually. Give strength to those helping in this crisis: first responders, medical teams, neighbors opening their doors, and strangers showing up with kindness. Equip them, renew them, and protect them.

Even as the earth gives way and the waters roar, You remain unshaken. Be the Rock beneath their feet. Be the steady hand that carries them forward. Let what was meant for harm be turned for healing. Let rivers of compassion rise even higher than the floodwaters. Where despair tries to take root, plant seeds of new hope and new beginnings.

In the name of Jesus—the One who walked on water and calmed every storm—we place our trust and speak peace over the Texas Hill Country—we pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance. Amen.
