God Uses The Unlikely!

God has always used the unlikely. The outcast. The overlooked. The broken. Because His power was never about status—it has always been about surrender. When the world looks for the polished and proud, God looks for the willing and humble.

He chose a stuttering Moses to lead a nation, a forgotten shepherd boy to slay a giant, and fishermen to change the world. Why? Because His strength is made perfect in weakness. The very things that disqualify us in the eyes of man are often the exact reasons God qualifies us.

Paul (formerly known as Saul) was once an unlikely choice, yet he spoke these powerful words in 1 Corinthians 1:27: “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.”

That’s divine strategy. God uses what the world discards to reveal His glory—and He still does it today.

So beloved, if you feel unseen, unqualified, or unworthy—you’re in the perfect position to be used by God. Your brokenness is not a barrier—it’s a doorway. All He’s looking for is a surrendered heart.

Pray With Me:

Father God, Thank You for using people like me—ordinary, flawed, and often overlooked. Thank You for choosing the broken to display Your beauty and the weak to reveal Your strength. I surrender my fears, my past, and my insecurities to You. Use my life for Your glory. I don’t have to be perfect—I just have to be available. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise.
Amen.
