Sometimes, it’s the heartbreak that opens your eyes. The loss, the betrayal, the unexpected detour—it hurts, but it also reveals. God doesn’t waste pain. He often uses the very thing that shatters your comfort to sharpen your vision.
When things fall apart, you start seeing people more clearly. You discern motives more wisely. You recognize what truly matters and what no longer deserves your energy. Brokenness doesn’t blind you—it often brings you into alignment with God’s perspective.
David reminds us of this spiritual truth found in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” That’s not just a comfort—it’s a promise. Your pain is not the end of your purpose. It’s part of how God matures your insight, strengthens your discernment, and prepares you for what’s next.
So Beloved, if something broke your heart, don’t assume it broke your future. Sometimes, God uses heartbreak to heal your sight. He allows what you thought you needed to be removed—so you can clearly see the path He’s intentionally designed for you.
Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for being near to me in moments of heartbreak. Even when I don’t understand it, I trust that You’re using it. Help me see with Your eyes. Use what hurt me to help me grow. Clear my vision, deepen my wisdom, and steady my steps. Let my heartbreak not be wasted—but be transformative in such a way it brings clarity and propels purpose. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
