“Where Your Energy Goes, Your Life Follows.”
Beloved, the direction of your energy shapes the direction of your life. If your energy is poured into worry, fear, or bitterness, your days will be consumed by anxiety and regret. But if your energy is invested in faith, gratitude, and purposeful action, your days will be filled with strength, peace, and progress.
Think about it: how we spend our energy is how we spend our day. And how we spend our days is ultimately how we spend our lives with the time that God has given us. Moses prayed in Psalm 90:12, “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Why? Because every day is a deposit, and where we invest determines the harvest we will reap.
Paul echoes this truth in Galatians 6:8-9, reminding us that “the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life… let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
So Beloved, today is not just another ordinary day—it is an opportunity to steward your energy wisely. Choose to invest it in prayer, in encouragement, in building what matters, in loving others deeply. Redirect your focus away from what drains and toward what uplifts. For where your energy goes, your life surely follows.
Pray with me:
Lord, teach me to number my days and to use my energy for what truly matters. Guard me from wasting strength on things that deplete my soul. Help me to sow into the Spirit and into eternal things, so that my life may bear fruit that honors You. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
