“Everything You Lost Is Coming Back.”
Beloved, life has a way of stripping things away—relationships, opportunities, peace, and even hope. Sometimes it feels like what was lost will never be restored. But hear this: with God, nothing is ever truly wasted. Everything you lost is coming back, and when it returns, it will come back better, stronger, and more refined by God’s hand.
The Old Testament reminds us in Joel 2:25: “I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten…” God is not just the Author of your story, He is also the Restorer of your seasons. And in the New Testament, Jesus promises in John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” What the enemy tried to take, God has already planned to replenish with abundance.
So Beloved, don’t live in despair over what slipped away. Trust that God is working behind the scenes to return joy, renew strength, and restore what was lost. It may not look the same when it comes back, but it will be exactly what you need in this new season.
Pray with me:
Father God, I thank You that You are a Restorer. I place every loss, every disappointment, and every broken piece into Your hands. I trust Your Word that You will restore the years and bring back what the enemy tried to steal. Lord, when it returns, let it be for Your glory and my growth. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
