“God Will Typically Test You in Three Ways!”
Beloved, God’s testing is not meant to break you but to build you. Every trial has a purpose, and every test reveals what’s in your heart. The way God answers—or delays—your requests often becomes the classroom of your faith.
- He gives you what you want immediately and tests your gratitude. Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” Gratitude proves we recognize the Giver beyond the gift.
- He doesn’t give you what you want and tests your faith. As 2 Corinthians 5:7 declares: “For we live by faith, not by sight.” Faith is trusting even when the answer is no, believing that God’s way is still good.
- He delays what you want and tests your patience. Isaiah 40:31 promises: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Patience matures us for the blessing to come.
So Beloved, if you are walking through a season of doubt or approaching a looming storm but still trusting God, know this—you are passing the test. Put “I trust God” into the atmosphere and shame Satan with your fireproof faith.
Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for every test that shapes my faith. Teach me gratitude when blessings come quickly, faith when answers seem withheld, and patience when Your timing is different from mine. Help me to trust You in every storm, knowing that You are preparing me for greater things. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
