“The Enemy May Win Battles, But Jesus Has Already Won the War”
Beloved, sometimes it may feel like the enemy is winning. You see setbacks, losses, temptations, and trials piling up. It may look like darkness is gaining ground. But don’t be deceived—battles may be lost here and there, but the war has already been won through Christ Jesus.
In the Old Testament, Exodus 14:14 declares: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” God reminds us that victory has never depended on our strength but on His power. And in the New Testament, 1 Corinthians 15:57 proclaims: “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” The cross sealed the outcome—no scheme of the enemy can overturn what Jesus finished at Calvary.
So Beloved, don’t be discouraged by temporary defeats. They are just battles along the way. The war is already settled, and the final word belongs to Jesus. Keep walking in faith, knowing that your Champion has secured the ultimate victory.
Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for reminding me that even when battles seem lost, the war is already won in Jesus. Strengthen me to stand firm, even when the enemy attacks. Help me trust that every trial is temporary and every victory eternal because of the cross. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
