You Are Not An Accident!

“You Are Not an Accident”

Beloved, you are not an accident. You are not here by chance, by coincidence, or by random circumstance. Before you ever took your first breath, God intentionally formed you, purposed you, and placed you in this moment in history. You are the result of divine thought, not human mistake. Every detail of your life—your gifts, your personality, your calling—was crafted with intention by the hands of a loving Creator.

In the Old Testament, David declares in Psalm 139:13–14: “For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” David reminds us that God didn’t mass-produce us—He handcrafted us. The word “knit” implies precision, care, and intimacy. You are the result of divine design.

And in the New Testament, the apostle Paul writes in Ephesians 2:10: “For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” Paul calls you God’s “workmanship,” which in the Greek means “masterpiece.” Not a mistake. Not an afterthought. A masterpiece assigned with purpose before the world ever knew your name.

And David continues this truth beautifully in Psalm 139:16: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.” Not only did God create you intentionally—He scheduled your entire existence with purpose. Every day of your life, even the ones that feel corrupt, chaotic or confusing, were already choreographed, known, planned, and precisely sley woven into His divine story.

So Beloved, reject every lie that tells you otherwise. You are intentional. You are chosen. You are created with purpose and placed on purpose. Your existence is evidence that God wanted you here. Walk boldly in that truth—your life has meaning far beyond what you can currently see.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for reminding me that I am not an accident. You created me with intention, purpose, and love. Help me to walk courageously and confidently in the identity You specifically designed for me. Reveal the good works You choreographed for me, and give me the confidence to fulfill them. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
