Who do they Say Jesus Is:
❌ Islam: Jesus (Isa) is a prophet, born of a virgin, and performed miracles, but is not God or God’s Son.
❌ Judaism: Jesus is seen as a teacher or historical figure, not the Messiah or divine.
❌ Hinduism: Jesus is often viewed as a holy man, guru, or even a divine incarnation, but not the only way to God.
❌ Buddhism: Jesus is seen as an enlightened teacher or wise moral guide, not divine or a savior.
❌ Sikhism: Jesus is respected as a prophet/holy teacher, but not worshiped as God.
❌ Atheism/Secular: Jesus is regarded as a historical moral teacher, without divine status.
❌ Jehovah’s Witness (JW): Jesus is God’s first created being, the archangel Michael, not God Himself.
❌ Latter-day Saints (LDS/Mormon): Jesus is the literal Son of God the Father, a separate divine being, and the elder brother of all humans (and of Lucifer).
✔️ Christianity: Jesus is the Son of God, the Messiah, and the Savior who died and rose again.
In the end, Jesus’ question to His disciples in Matthew 16:13-17 still echoes across every generation: “But who do you say that I am?” It is the most important question we will ever answer—not with our lips alone, but with our lives. Titles, opinions, and doctrines may differ, yet Jesus invites each of us into a deeply personal revelation of who He truly is. He is not defined by what others say about Him; He is revealed by what He becomes in us. So as you ponder for yourself, I invite you to answer Him for yourself. Let your confession rise from a place of faith, conviction, and intimacy: You are the Christ. You created ALL things. You’re not just a prophet or historical figure. You are more than a guru. You are my Savior. You are my Lord. And may that declaration shape the way I live, love, serve, and lead every single day.
