🚨Rescue Mission🚨

“The Son of God Came to Rescue”

Beloved, the Son of God came to earth for one reason—to rescue mankind from the penalty of sin. From the beginning of time, God’s plan of redemption was set in motion. Sin created a separation we could never bridge on our own, but love built a cross strong enough to carry the weight of our salvation. Jesus didn’t come to improve humanity; He came to redeem it.

In the Old Testament, the prophet Isaiah foresaw this mission in Isaiah 53:5: “But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.” Centuries before Jesus was born, Isaiah declared the purpose of His coming—to take our place, to bear our punishment, and to offer peace in exchange for pain.

And in the New Testament, the apostle John echoes this truth in John 3:17: “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” Jesus came not to condemn, but to restore. Every step He took, every word He spoke, and every drop of blood He shed was driven by one purpose—to bring humanity back into right relationship with the Father.

So Beloved, salvation is not something we earn; it’s something we receive. The Son of God came to rescue you—personally, intentionally, and completely. You were not an afterthought in His plan; you were the reason for it. The cross was not a symbol of defeat—it was heaven’s declaration of victory.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for sending Your Son to rescue me from the penalty of sin. Help me to never take Your grace for granted, but to live each day in gratitude for the price that was paid. Teach me to walk in freedom, to serve in love, and to remember that Jesus came not to condemn but to save. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

Amen.
