“The Enemy Couldn’t Take You Out!”
Beloved, the enemy couldn’t take you out, so now he’s trying to wear you down. When the devil realizes he cannot destroy you, he shifts his strategy to distraction, exhaustion, and discouragement. But hear this clearly: the enemy does not break into an empty house. If he’s after you, it’s because there is something valuable inside you — something God placed there that hell cannot ignore.
Jesus Himself told us the truth in John 10:10: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” When Jesus calls Satan a thief, He is revealing the enemy’s motive — thieves only go after things worth stealing. Your purpose, your calling, your anointing, your destiny — these are the treasures he wants to drain from you. But Jesus didn’t stop at exposing the attack; He declared His answer to it: life, abundance, strength, and victory.
In Luke 22:31–32, Jesus warns Peter: “Satan has asked to sift all of you like wheat. But I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail.” Jesus did not promise Peter comfort; He promised preservation. He didn’t stop the storm; He strengthened the man. That’s what He’s doing in you. If the enemy can’t break you, he’ll try to weary you — but Jesus has already prayed for your endurance, your faith, and your future.
So Beloved, lift your head. You are not under attack because you are weak — you are under attack because you are worth something. The enemy is fighting you because heaven has assigned you. You are not empty. You are not abandoned. You are not unprotected. You are chosen, covered, and strengthened by Jesus Himself.

Father God, thank You for reminding me that the attack on my life is evidence of the value You placed within me. Strengthen me where I am weary and remind me of the victory that is already secured through Jesus. Help me to stand firm, to trust You deeply, and to walk in the authority You’ve given me. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
