Come Home!

“Come Home”

Beloved, no matter how lost we become, God still whispers two words that changes everything: “Come home.” His invitation is never revoked, never weakened, and never withdrawn. Even when we wander far, numb our hearts, rebel against His goodness, or run into the arms of things that were never meant to hold us—His voice reaches further than our failures.

In the Old Testament, God speaks this message powerfully through the prophet Hosea. Israel had drifted into unfaithfulness, but God said in Hosea 14:1, “Return, O Israel, to the Lord your God.” This wasn’t anger—it was longing. It was the cry of a Father who refuses to give up on His children. Hosea’s entire story is a picture of relentless love—a love that pursues even when we push away, a love that restores even what we’ve broken, a love that always calls us back home.

In the New Testament, Jesus echoes the same heartbeat in the parable of the prodigal son. In Luke 15:20, Jesus describes the Father running toward the child who had wasted everything. Jesus wants us to know that God doesn’t wait with crossed arms—He runs with open ones.

So Beloved, if life has taken you down roads you never intended to travel… if shame has made you believe you’ve gone too far… if fear tells you that God is done with you—hear this truth: You are still wanted. You are still loved. And God is still whispering, “Come home.”

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for pursuing me even when I stray. Thank You that no matter how far I wander, Your love still calls me back. Remove any shame, fear, or doubt keeping me from returning fully to You. Help me to hear Your voice clearly and respond with an open heart. Today, I choose to come home. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen and Amen!
