“God Will Never Stop Doing Wonderful Things.”
Beloved, even in the face of unimaginable tragedies, fear, anxiety, depression, and everything else the enemy tries to throw our way, we still have so much to be thankful for. Our circumstances may shake us, but the character of God remains unshaken. The goodness of God is not canceled by the storms of life. Even when the world feels heavy, God continues to do wonderful things—because that is who He is.
In the Old Testament, the prophet Jeremiah gives us a powerful reminder in Lamentations 3:22–23: “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” Jeremiah wrote this in the middle of devastation, grief, and national collapse. Yet, even surrounded by despair, he chose to anchor himself in God’s faithfulness. His world fell apart, but his hope did not—because his hope was in God.
And in the New Testament, the apostle Paul affirms this truth in 1 Thessalonians 5:24: “The One who calls you is faithful, and He will do it.” Paul reminds us that the God who began a good work will finish it. The God who calls you will keep you. The God who sustains you will carry you. His faithfulness is not seasonal; it is eternal.
So Beloved, even when life feels overwhelming, look for the evidence of His goodness—it’s all around you. Breath in your lungs, strength for today, grace for tomorrow, mercy that greets you each morning. God will never stop doing wonderful things. He didn’t stop yesterday. He won’t stop today. And He won’t stop tomorrow.
Pray with me: Father God, thank You for being faithful in every season. Even when life feels heavy, You remain good. Help me to see Your hand in the middle of my struggles and to give thanks for all the ways You sustain me. Strengthen my heart with the assurance that You will never stop doing wonderful things. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen and Amen!
