He Joins You In It!

“God Doesn’t Always Remove the Trial—He Joins You in It!”

Beloved, God doesn’t always take away the trial. Instead, He joins you in it. We often pray for escape, but many times God offers His presence instead. And His presence changes everything. The storm may still rage, the pressure may still press, and the waiting may still stretch—but you are never facing it alone. God is not distant from your pain. He is near to the brokenhearted, attentive to every tear, and active in every moment you feel overwhelmed.

The prophet Isaiah declared in Isaiah 43:2 that when you pass through the waters, God will be with you, and when you walk through the fire, you will not be burned. Isaiah didn’t say the waters would disappear or the fire would be extinguished. He said God would meet you in the middle of them. That means the trial is not proof of God’s absence—it is the stage for His faithfulness.

And the apostle Paul reminds us in 2 Corinthians 12:9 that the Lord told him, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul asked for the trial to be removed, but God gave him strength instead. Sometimes God calms the storm, and sometimes He calms His child inside the storm. Either way, His power is still on display.

So Beloved, if you are praying for relief and instead you feel sustained, that is not a denial—it is divine companionship. God is walking with you, carrying you when you are weak, strengthening you when you feel empty, and shaping you in ways comfort never could. You may not be free from the trial yet, but you are never alone inside it.

Pray with me: Father God, thank You that when You don’t remove the trial, You never remove Your presence. Help me trust You in the fire, in the waiting, and in the struggle. Strengthen me where I feel weak, and remind me that I am never walking alone. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen and Amen!
