Who The Son Set Free!

“Who the Son Sets Free”

Beloved, freedom is one of the most misunderstood gifts in the world. Many people think freedom means doing whatever they want, whenever they want. But real freedom isn’t found in the absence of limits — it’s found in the presence of Jesus. Who the Son sets free is free indeed.

Jesus doesn’t offer temporary relief or surface-level change. He breaks chains at the root. He doesn’t just manage behavior — He transforms hearts. What the world tries to control, medicate, or hide, Jesus redeems and releases completely.

The Old Testament shows us God’s heart for freedom long before the cross. God delivered Israel from Egypt not just to remove them from slavery, but to lead them into covenant and purpose. Freedom was never the destination — it was the doorway.

The New Testament makes it plain. Jesus declares in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” This freedom is not partial. It’s not fragile. It’s not dependent on circumstances. It is a settled reality rooted in Christ’s reigning authority, abundant love, and irreversible finished work.

So Beloved, stop rehearsing what once held you. Stop identifying with what God already broke. You are not who you were. You are not bound by your past. You are not defined by your chains. Your identity is fully in Christ and Christ alone!

Freedom isn’t something you earn — it’s someone you receive.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for the freedom Jesus purchased for me. Help me walk in what You have already declared over my life. Where I have lived like I’m still bound, remind me that the chains are broken. Teach me to stand firm in the freedom You have given — in Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen!
