The Real Enemy!

“The Real Enemy”

Beloved, many people think the greatest enemy they face is Satan. But often the greater danger is something quieter and closer — ignorance. Satan may tempt and deceive, but ignorance keeps us from recognizing the truth that sets us free.

The Old Testament warns us of this clearly. In Hosea 4:6 God says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” The tragedy was not merely opposition from outside forces — it was a lack of understanding within. When truth is ignored or unknown, people become vulnerable to deception.

The New Testament echoes this reality in John 8:32 where Jesus says, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Freedom is not found in strength alone; it is found in knowing and living by the truth of God’s Word.

So Beloved, pursue understanding. Seek God’s Word. Grow in wisdom. Because when truth fills your heart, ignorance loses its grip and darkness loses its advantage.

The reality is this: deception loses its power when truth is known.

Pray with me: Father God, open my mind to Your truth and guard me from ignorance that leads me away from You. Fill my heart with wisdom so that I may walk in the freedom of Your Word — in Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise in advance, Amen!
