Every Word Points To Jesus!

“Every word points to Jesus!”

From beginning to end, God’s Word is one unified story of redemption. Beginning in Genesis, God created the heavens and the earth and called a people to Himself. In Exodus through Deuteronomy, He delivered His people, gave them His law, and taught them how to walk in holiness. In Joshua, Judges, and Ruth, we see His people struggle, fall, and rise again under His mercy. Through Samuel, Kings, and Chronicles, God raises leaders, warns against sin, and reminds His people of His covenant promises. In Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther, He restores His people and proves He is faithful even in exile.

Through Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, and Song of Solomon, He teaches wisdom, worship, and the depths of human longing. The prophets—from Isaiah to Malachi—remind us that judgment is real, but so is hope, and they point to the coming Messiah.

In the Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—Jesus Christ arrives as the fulfillment of every promise. He is the Word made flesh, the Savior of the world. In Acts, His Spirit empowers the church to spread the gospel to the nations.

Through the letters of Paul and the apostles, we are taught how to live, love, and persevere as God’s people until the end. And in Revelation, we see the final victory: Christ reigns, evil is defeated, and God makes all things new.

Every book, every chapter, every verse points to one great truth: God is faithful, His plan is perfect, and His story always leads to Jesus.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for giving us the gift of Your Word—66 books, one story, one Savior. Help us to live with the wisdom of Proverbs, the courage of Joshua, the faith of Abraham, and the hope of Revelation. May we see that from Genesis to Revelation, Your love never fails. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Grow In Grace!

“The More You Grow in God, The More You Grow in Grace”

My beloved late embryonic twin brother Noel Pinnock once said, “The more you grow in God, the more you grow in grace.” At the time, it sounded like a beautiful truth—and over the years, I’ve seen just how profound it really is.

Growth in God isn’t just about learning more Scripture or spending more time in prayer—though those are vital. It’s about becoming more like Him. And the more you become like Him, the more His grace begins to flow through you—not just to you, but from you to others.

Peter reminds us in 2 Peter 3:18, “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” This growth isn’t about perfection—it’s about progression. Each season you walk with Him, your patience deepens, your compassion widens, and your forgiveness becomes freer.

Grace doesn’t excuse sin—it empowers transformation. It’s the divine strength that lets you keep loving when others stop, keep forgiving when it’s hard, and keep believing when the odds are against you.

So Beloved, lean into God. Let His Word stretch you. Let His Spirit refine you. The deeper your roots go into Him, the more your life will overflow with grace—and that grace will be your testimony.

Pray With Me:

Father, help me to grow in You daily. Stretch my faith, expand my compassion, and deepen my understanding of Your grace. Let my life be evidence of Your transforming power. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

His Power Is Made Perfect In Our Shortcomings!

“God’s grace is more than enough!”

The Apostle Paul penned these words after pleading with God to remove his “thorn in the flesh.” Instead of taking the struggle away, God reminded him—and us—of this timeless truth in 2 Corinthians 12:9: “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” Paul’s weakness became the very platform for God’s strength. In sharing his testimony, he wasn’t merely admitting frailty—he was declaring that his weakness was the stage where God’s power shine the brightest. Grace doesn’t simply excuse our limitations; it transforms them into opportunities for God to reveal His power in undeniable, unexplainable, and irrefutable ways.

This truth didn’t begin with Paul. Centuries earlier, Isaiah 30:29 proclaimed, “He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” What Paul revealed in the New Testament had already been foreshadowed in the Old: God delights in filling empty vessels, restoring the broken, and empowering the fainthearted.

So Beloved, when you feel inadequate, remember—it’s not your strength God is looking for, but your surrender. That’s why Paul could boldly proclaim in 2 Corinthians 12:10, “For when I am weak, then I am strong.” His personal and intimate testimony proves that grace doesn’t just cover your weakness; it transforms it into a stage where God’s power is magnified in your life!

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is perfected in my weakness. Help me to trust that where I fall short, You stand strong. Let my life be a testimony that in Christ, I am sustained, renewed, and victorious. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Do You Want To Be Healed!

“You Can’t Help Someone Who Won’t Help Themselves”

Let’s be honest, some people aren’t looking for healing—they’re looking for validation to stay broken. You can pour in wisdom, love, and truth, but if they’re committed to the story that suits their dysfunction, nothing will change.

A victim mindset will never lead to victory. Proverbs 23:7 reminds us, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” If someone believes they are always the victim, they will live like one, even when freedom is within reach. Choosing not to get better is choosing to stay bitter—and bitterness doesn’t just poison the heart, it seeps into relationships, opportunities, and blessings. Hebrews 12:15 warns us, “See to it that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many.”

Even Jesus didn’t heal those who refused. In John 5:6, He asked the lame man, “Do you want to get well?” God will not override a heart determined to cling to pain, because His love invites—it does not force.

So Beloved, remember 1 Corinthians 15:33: “Do not be misled: ‘Bad company corrupts good character.’” Love people, pray for them, and point them toward truth—but don’t chain yourself to their prison cell. You’re called to walk in freedom.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for teaching me to love without losing myself. Give me wisdom to help without enabling, to speak truth without fear, and to walk away when You say it’s time. Heal those bound by bitterness and set them free by Your power. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Glitter Isn’t Always Gold!

“To every creation, there is an imitation. To every reality, there is a fantasy.”

From the very beginning, God spoke life into existence, and immediately the enemy sought to counterfeit it. In Genesis, God placed Adam and Eve in a perfect garden—but the serpent offered a false version of wisdom. That’s the pattern: God creates truth, the enemy manufactures a lie that looks close enough to fool the unfocused.

Paul warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:14 that “Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” Not everything that glitters is gold, and not every opportunity is God’s will. Some “doors” are painted to look open but lead to chains, while others require faith to walk through because they look too small for the miracle behind them.

The world will offer imitations of joy, peace, love, and purpose—but they are always shallow, temporary, and costly to your soul. God’s version is eternal, deeply rooted, and backed by His promise. That’s why discernment is key. The closer you stay to the Creator, the easier it is to spot the counterfeit.

So Beloved, don’t settle for fantasy when you’ve been promised reality. Don’t trade God’s best for the enemy’s almost. What God creates, no imitation can compete with.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for being the true Creator of every good thing in my life. Give me eyes to see the difference between what is from You and what is a distraction. Help me walk in truth, reject the counterfeit, and embrace the life You intended for me. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Seasoned With Salt 🧂

“Be sure to taste your words before you spit them out.”

Over 3,000 years ago, King Solomon admonished us with timeless wisdom in Proverbs 18:21: “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Even after millennia, the truth still stands—our words carry weight, shaping destinies, healing wounds, or breaking hearts.

Think of it this way: once words leave your lips, you can’t reel them back in. You may apologize, but you cannot erase the echo. A careless outburst may leave scars, but a thoughtful word can plant seeds of hope.

That’s why the Apostle Paul reminded us nearly 2,000 years ago in Colossians 4:6: “Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” His words echo Solomon’s wisdom, teaching us to make sure what flows from our mouths preserves, heals, and strengthens—not tears down or corrupts.

So Beloved, pause before you speak. Taste your words first. Ask—are they seasoned with grace, kindness, and truth? Are they nourishing or toxic? The wisdom of Solomon and Paul still rings true: speak life, not death.

Pray with me:
Father God, help me to speak with wisdom and love. Guard my tongue from harm and fill my heart with words that bring healing and hope. May my speech reflect Your grace, seasoned with salt, so that my words uplift and not tear down. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen and Amen and Amen!

Free In Christ

“Don’t Be a Slave to Your Scars”

Everyone has scars—some visible, most hidden. Scars tell the story of what hurt us, but they don’t have to define us. You are more than what happened to you. Your identity is not in the wound, and your future is not limited by your pain. Scars are signs that healing has already begun. They’re reminders that you survived.

But if we’re not careful, scars can become shackles. They can bind us to bitterness, insecurity, and fear of trying again. That’s why God invites us to something higher: freedom. Freedom from the memory of the wound. Freedom from the lie that it’s too late to start again. In John 8:36, Jesus said, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”

So Beloved, don’t be a slave to your scars. Let them tell a story of grace, not grief. Let them point to the One who heals, not the one who hurt you. You are not damaged goods—you are living proof that God restores, renews, and repurposes everything for His glory. Paul graciously reminded us in Romans 8:28, “All things work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose.”

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for healing the wounds I thought would never stop hurting. Help me not to live in the shadow of my scars, but in the light of Your freedom. Let my life testify that You still make broken things beautiful. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Let Us Not Grow Weary!

“Your Effort Is Not in Vain”

Some days it feels like you’re doing everything right and still watching everything fall apart. You show up. You pray. You give your best. And yet, the results don’t match the effort. But don’t give up. Don’t lose heart. Be strong. Stay positive. Abide in God’s grace. Your efforts are not invisible to God—and they are not in vain.

Seasons of pressure often come just before seasons of breakthrough. What feels like falling apart may actually be God rearranging things for something better. Sometimes He has to shake the ground to strengthen the foundation.

In Galatians 6:9, Paul encourages us: “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” That “proper time” is set by God, not by our expectations. But make no mistake—He honors the faithful. He rewards those who endure.

So, Beloved, even when everything feels uncertain, keep sowing love. Keep walking in faith. Keep showing up. The same God who sees your struggle is the One preparing your reward. And what’s coming will be worth everything you’ve endured.

Finally, never forget you’re seen, heard, and deeply loved by the One who holds you in the precious palms of His hands.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for seeing the effort I put in—even when no one else does. Strengthen me to keep going when I feel like giving up. Help me stay positive and anchored in hope, trusting that You are working behind the scenes. I believe that in Your time, the harvest will come. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Built Different!

“You Were Made for More”

God didn’t just make you to survive—He designed you to thrive. Your body was created for elevation, to rise above limitations. Your mind was created for innovation, to think differently, to dream boldly, and to trust that the ideas planted in your spirit came from Him. Your heart was made for transformation, so that every trial shapes you more into His image. Your eyes? They were crafted for visualization—to see what’s possible even before it happens. Your hands are for preparation, building and serving in alignment with His plan. Your skin is for insulation, reminding you that you’re covered and protected in life’s storms. Your feet are for transportation, carrying you into new seasons, new territories, and new assignments. And your spirit? Well, that’s for sanctification—set apart, refined, redefined, and strengthened to walk with the One who made you.

Every part of you was made on purpose, for a purpose. You’re not lacking—you’re already equipped. As 2 Peter 1:3 declares, “His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.” You were designed with divine intention—complete, capable, and unstoppable. No cap, stop questioning if you have what it takes and start walking like you know God made you for more.

So today, Beloved, remember this: you are not an accident. Every part of you was designed for divine assignment. The world- and adversary may try to convince you otherwise, but Psalm 139:14 declares, “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for creating me with purpose and equipping me with everything I need for the journey ahead. Help me to use my mind for elevation, my heart for transformation, my eyes for vision, my hands for preparation, my skin for protection, my feet for movement, and my spirit for holiness. Strengthen me to walk in the fullness of who You created me to be. I trust Your design and surrender to Your plan. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

The Pen Belongs To God!

“God’s Version Is Better”

There’s a quiet comfort in knowing that God is the Author of your story. You may have plans, dreams, and a clear idea of how things should unfold—but sometimes, God rewrites the script. Not to harm you, but to elevate you.

You may feel delayed, overlooked, or rerouted. But what if God’s detour is actually divine direction? What if the closed door was His kindness? What if the waiting room is where He’s building the strength you’ll need for the next chapter?

In Proverbs 16:9 King Solomon offers these comforting and encouraging words, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.”

We don’t always see the plot twist coming, but we can trust the Author in every sacred pivot. His version includes peace you didn’t expect, blessings you didn’t see coming, and healing you thought would never arrive. His version is not just better—it’s eternally ordained.

So Beloved, stop trying to take the pen back. Let Him write. Let Him lead. Let Him unfold the masterpiece, even if it doesn’t look like the draft you had in mind.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for writing my story. Even when I don’t understand every plot and/or scared pivot, I trust the Author. Help me release control, surrender my expectations, and lean into Your perfect will. I believe that what You’ve written according to Psalm 139:16 and what You’re rewriting writing in Proverbs 16:9 is far greater than anything I could imagine. O’God, the pen belongs to You and You alone! In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
