“Don’t Let Anyone Put Out Your Fire”

When God ignites something in your soul—a calling, a passion, a holy conviction—it’s not meant to be dimmed by the opinions of others. People may not understand it. Some will doubt it. Others may even try to discourage you, not out of malice, but because they can’t see what God has shown you. But remember this: your fire was lit in heaven, not in the court of public opinion.

In 2 Timothy 1:6, The Apostle Paul told Timothy, “Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you.” Flames die when they’re left untended—but they also weaken when they’re smothered by fear, criticism, or complacency. Your job is to guard it, fuel it, and let it burn brightly for the glory of God.

So Beloved, don’t let anyone put out the fire God started in you. Protect it like your life depends on it—because your purpose does. Feed it with prayer, with His Word, and with bold obedience. You weren’t made to be lukewarm. You were made to shine.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for the fire You have placed in my heart. Help me to protect it from doubt, fear, and distraction. Teach me to fan it into flame, so my life burns brightly for You. Let my passion bring You glory, and let it never be extinguished. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Still Choose Jesus!

In a world where religion has often been politicized, weaponized, and sterilized, many have walked away—hurt not by Christ Himself, but by those who misrepresented Him. And yet, I still choose to follow Jesus. Not the institutional mascot version—tamed, polished, or made in our image. I follow the radical Jesus—the table-turning, woman-honoring, poor-defending, storm silencing, shame-breaking, tomb emptying, blood-covering, and salvation bringing Son of God.

I follow the One who stooped low in the dirt beside the accused, not to condemn, but to restore. The One who challenged the prideful elite and exposed hypocrisy with truth. The One who saw the invisible, touched the untouchable, and called the unqualified, the rejected, and the outcast. I follow Him not because history has been clean—but because He’s always been holy, even when the Church wasn’t.

Jesus never sought titles. He washed feet. He carried crosses. He didn’t build a platform—He laid down His life. This is the Christ who still calls to us today—not to perform, but to follow. And I don’t follow Him because I’m blind to injustice, failure, or church wounds. I follow Him in spite of them, because His voice cuts through the noise with one message: “Come to Me.”

At this point in my message, I would pinpoint a scripture reference, but today I point to the entire Bible….all 66 books!

So Beloved, if you’ve been burnt by man, religion or both, know this—Jesus is better than what was done in His name. He’s not asking you to trust a system—He’s inviting you to know (believe) Him and trust (faith) Him!

Pray With Me:
Jesus, I choose You—not the version others distorted, but the real You. The One who heals, restores, and loves with no conditions. The One says Grace is bigger than our sins. The One who heals the parts of me hurt by people who claimed Your name but didn’t reflect Your heart. Draw me close again—not to religion, but to my intimate relationship with You. In Your holy name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Grace Upon Grace!

“Grace Upon Grace”

There is a sacred rhythm to how God meets us: not with measured portions of mercy, but with an endless stream of grace. The Apostle John captures this truth with striking clarity in John 1:16:“Out of His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.”

This isn’t poetic exaggeration—it’s a spiritual reality. Grace isn’t just something God gives; it’s who He is. From the fullness of Christ, we are not given scraps or occasional blessings. We are lavished with abundance—grace layered upon grace, like waves that never cease to wash the shore.

Watch this, God’s grace is the kind that finds you in failure, lifts you in weakness, and covers you in peace. It’s not based on your performance, your history, or your perfection. It flows directly from Jesus’ fullness—His perfect life, His finished work on the cross, His unshakable love. And because His fullness has no end, neither does His grace.

So Beloved, let this be your quiet and bold assurance today: what God gives, He gives fully. And what He gives most is Himself. You are not living off spiritual leftovers—you are drawing from divine overflow. When you feel empty, grace will fill. When you feel unworthy, grace will cover. When you feel forgotten, grace will remind you that you are deeply seen and loved.

Pray With Me:
Gracious Father, thank You for Jesus—the source of all fullness and grace. I receive today, not by merit but by mercy, grace upon grace. Let Your abundance overflow in my life so I can live freely, serve boldly, and love fully. Help me never forget that Your grace doesn’t run out—it runs to me. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Not by Sight!

In human relationships, we often demand evidence before we give trust. “Prove it first.” “Let me see how it works out.” But faith doesn’t operate that way. Man says, “Show me and I will trust you.” But God says, “Trust me… and I will show you.”

God doesn’t hand us the blueprint up front. He gives us the invitation to trust—and then reveals the next step as we walk by faith. That’s how Abraham became the father of nations. That’s how Moses led an entire nation through the wilderness. That’s how Joshua led an entire nation to the promise land. That’s how the woman with issue of blood got healed. That’s how Peter stepped out of the boat. Bottom line, that’s how miracles happen—not when we have all the answers, but when we walk in obedience without them.

In Proverbs 3:5-6, Solomon writes, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” That means the path doesn’t become clear before the trust—it becomes clear because of it.

So Beloved, if you’re waiting for God to “show you” before you move, maybe He’s waiting for you to trust Him first before He moves. Your obedience is what activates the revelation. Your faith unlocks what fear tries to keep hidden. In Romans 1:17, Galatians 3:11, and Hebrews 10:38 we are reminded, “The just [justified in Christ] shall live by faith.”

Pray With Me:
Father God, I confess—sometimes I want to see before I believe. But You call me to trust before I see. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight. Let my trust in You open doors I can’t see yet. I believe that when I move in faith, You will meet me with direction, provision, and peace. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

There Is A Door!

Beloved, there’s something beautifully unstoppable about prayer. In a world where doors are slammed shut, opportunities vanish, and obstacles rise like mountains, prayer remains the one passage that hell itself cannot block. Charles Spurgeon once wrote, “Prayer is an open door which none can shut. Devils may surround you on all sides, but the way upward is always open.” What a powerful reminder that even when everything feels closed off, heaven is always listening-always open!

Prayer is not about perfect words—it’s about persistent hearts. You may be weary. You may feel surrounded by spiritual warfare, disappointment, discontent, discouragement or despair. But the one door that remains open—the one no devil can bolt shut—is your access to the Father. Through prayer, we don’t escape our reality; we tap into a greater one. We don’t pretend the storm isn’t real—we simply reach for the hand of the One who can still it.

As Revelation 3:8 declares, “See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” Jesus Himself has made a way. Not just through your struggle, but upward—toward peace, strength, clarity, comfort, joy, and hope.

So Beloved, when everything else seems uncertain, when people let you down and situations feel beyond your grasp, remember this: the way to God is never blocked. You may be surrounded, but you are not sealed off. The way upward is always open.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for the gift of prayer. Thank You that no matter what surrounds me—chaos, fear, uncertainty, or spiritual resistance—Your presence is always accessible. When doors close around me, help me remember that the most important door remains wide open. I run to You now. I seek You in every breath. Thank You for hearing me. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

God Did It…..God Allowed It!

“God Did It—And God Allowed It”

If anything good has ever happened in my life—God did it. Every open door, every healing, every unexpected blessing—it was His hand, not mine. His mercy, not my merit and not the universe. It’s all aboHis provision, not my power. James 1:17 says it clearly: “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”

But if anything painful, confusing, or heartbreaking has happened in my life—God allowed it. Not to destroy me, but to develop me. Not to punish me, but to position me. There’s nothing I’ve walked through that caught Him by surprise. He may have allowed the storm, but He never abandoned me in it. Every test came with a purpose. Every tear carried a lesson. Every loss made space for something new.

So beloved, I can say this with confidence: whether God did it or allowed it—He’s still good. He’s been in control the whole time. The highs and the lows, the wins and the wounds—they’re all being woven into something beautiful.

If there’s anything I can boast in, it’s not my strength—it’s His sovereignty. The good? God did it. The hard? God allowed it. And through it all, He’s been faithful.

Pray With Me:

Father God, thank You for every good thing You’ve done in my life—and thank You for the things You’ve allowed, even when I didn’t understand them. I trust that nothing touches my life without passing through Your purpose. Help me to see Your hand in every moment—both the joyful and the painful. Let it all point me back to You. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Vengeance Belongs To God!

There’s a reason Scripture calls us to rise above vengeance. In Romans 12:19, the Apostle Paul reminds us, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: ‘It is mine to avenge; I will repay,’ says the Lord.” Seeking revenge might feel satisfying in the moment, but it always leaves a bitter aftertaste. That’s because revenge keeps your heart entangled in the offense, while forgiveness sets it free.

You don’t need to waste your energy proving someone wrong or watching them fall. Rotten fruit falls on its own. In time, what’s fake will fade, what’s toxic will turn, and what’s broken will break. You don’t have to push it—just stay planted in God’s truth and righteousness. When you live with integrity, God handles what you can’t. He lifts up the humble, silences the slanderer, and vindicates the faithful.

So Beloved, stop trying to harvest justice from the same soil injustice was sown. Bitterness bears no fruit worth keeping. God sees what they said. He knows what they did. And He’s not ignoring your pain—He’s just writing a better outcome than revenge could ever give you.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for fighting my battles. Help me release every urge for revenge and trust that You are just, faithful, and true. Give me peace in knowing that I don’t have to fall into the same pit of bitterness as forgiveness is always the better option. Strengthen me to rise above and rest in Your promises. I choose to walk in light of the same grace You have given and not retaliation. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Let Scripture [Rx] Change You!

We live in a world increasingly drawn to self-made truths and shifting standards. But God’s Word was never meant to be adjusted to suit our comfort. It was meant to challenge, convict, and ultimately transform us. When people attempt to bend Scripture to fit personal preference, they rob it of its divine authority and power to change lives. The Bible is not a cultural suggestion—it is God’s holy standard, written to shape our hearts, not cater to our opinions.

In Hebrews 13:8, the writer—widely believed to be Paul—reminds us: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” That simple yet profound truth anchors us. If Jesus hasn’t changed, neither has His Word. It doesn’t evolve with culture; it remains eternally relevant and immutable. We are not meant to edit it. We are called to live by it.

No cap, scripture is not a menu where we pick and choose what feels right. It is the inspired Word of God, written over the span of approximately 1,500 years,
by more than 40 different authors through faithful men like Moses, David, Isaiah, Matthew, John, and Paul, for the purpose of guiding, correcting, and redeeming us. It doesn’t need to be rewritten; it needs to be re-read—with humility and a heart ready to trust Someone bigger than yourself (aka) obey.

Paul affirms this truth in, 2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT), “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”

So Beloved, let the Word do what it was always intended to do: confront the lies we believe, correct the paths we’ve strayed from, restore our brokenness, and renew our minds. Don’t try to reshape God’s Word to fit your world—allow His Word to reshape you into His image.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You for Your unchanging Word. Forgive me for the times I’ve tried to make it fit my comfort instead of surrendering to Your truth. Soften my heart, sharpen my ears, and steady my steps as I follow You in obedience. Let Your Word not just inform me, but transform me. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Nothing Is Too Broken For God!

“Nothing Is Too Broken for God”

There is no level of brokenness beyond God’s reach. No heart too shattered, no chapter too messy, no soul too weary that God cannot restore, replenish, and resurrect. We serve a God who breathes life into dry bones and rebuilds from ashes. What others throw away, God still calls valuable.

David, the Psalmist who knew pain, failure, and redemption intimately, once wrote in Psalm 147:3: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” David didn’t write those words from a place of perfection—he wrote them from a place of experience. He had been broken. He had been betrayed. He had failed miserably. And yet, he encountered a God who met him in his lowest moments and still called him “a man after His own heart.”

That same God is still healing today. He doesn’t just restore what was lost—He makes it whole. He doesn’t just refill what ran dry—He replenishes with overflow. He doesn’t just revive your spirit—He resurrects your purpose. What seems buried under regret, shame, or trauma is never beyond the reach of God’s restoring power.

So beloved, don’t count yourself out. Don’t let the weight of brokenness convince you that your best days are behind you. If God could restore David—a warrior, a worshiper, and a man with a deeply flawed past—He can restore you too.

Pray With Me:
Father God, Thank You for being the One who heals the brokenhearted and binds up every wound, just like You did for David. I bring You my broken places—not to hide them, but to surrender them. Restore what’s been lost, replenish what’s been drained, and resurrect what I thought was dead. Make beauty from these ashes, Lord. I trust You with every shattered piece. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise.
Amen.

Get Up & Move!

Sometimes God calls us to be still—and sometimes He calls us to move. And in moments of uncertainty, we need the wisdom to know when it’s time for both.

In Exodus 14:14, Moses tells the Israelites: “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” It was a command to pause, trust, and stop panicking. At that moment, their stillness was faith. But then, in the very next verse—Exodus 14:15—God replies: “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on.”

So which is it—be still or move forward? The answer is both.

First, we must still our hearts. We must calm our fears, anchor our trust, and silence our doubt. But faith doesn’t mean inaction. James 2:17 reminds us that, “Faith without works is dead.” Henceforth, once trust aka faith is rooted, obedience must follow. God parted the Red Sea—but they still had to walk through it. Stillness prepared their spirit, but movement fulfilled the miracle and/or promise.

Beloved, in your life, God may be calling you to rest in His promises—but don’t mistake stillness of heart for paralysis of purpose. He’s fighting for you, but He’s also calling you to move forward.

Pray With Me:
Father God, teach me how to be still—and then how to move. Still my heart so I can trust You. Strengthen my steps so I can follow You. Help me discern when to wait in faith and when to walk in obedience. I believe You are fighting for me, and I’m ready to move when You say, “Go.” In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.
