Finish The Race!

Life will offer you a thousand different goals to chase—success, comfort, recognition, wealth, applause. But Paul, in the middle of his mission, narrowed it all down to one holy focus. He said in Acts 20:24, “However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.”

That’s clarity. That’s purpose. That’s surrender. Paul wasn’t living to impress people or protect his comfort—he was living to finish what God started in him. His life wasn’t about self-preservation; it was about gospel proclamation. And in a world full of distractions, we need that same holy focus. The truth is, you can’t run with endurance while trying to carry everything that doesn’t align with your assignment.

Unlike the race between Ashton Hall and iShowSpeed, this race we’re in—it’s not about speed or comparison. It’s about faithfulness. It’s about waking up every day and saying, “Lord, I’m still running. I’m still showing up. I’m still trusting You to work through me.” Hebrews 12:1–2 reminds us to “run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.” That means we don’t look to the left or right. We don’t lose focus when life gets hard. We press on, because the goal is worth it, and grace has already made the way.

So today, my brothers and sisters (aka fellow runners) ask yourself: What is my focus or aim?  What am I chasing that doesn’t lead me to the finish line God designed for me? Real purpose begins when everything else fades, and you can say, like Paul, “My only aim is to finish what Jesus assigned for me to finish.”

Prayer with me:

Father God, refocus my heart. In a world full of noise, ambition, and pressure, help me to fix my eyes on what truly matters. Like Paul, I want to finish the race and complete the task You set before me—to testify to the good news of Your grace. Therefore, strip away every distraction. Remove every weight. Give me strength to endure, courage to obey, and joy in the journey. May my life echo one focus and aim: to glorify Jesus and finish well. In His name I pray, believe, praise, and receive. Amen.

Energy Vs. Intentions

You say you want elevation. You pray for purpose, clarity, and growth. But here’s the hard truth—your energy has to match your intentions. You can’t ask God to take you higher while still clinging to sinful habits, draining relationships, or distractions that keep you grounded. You can’t manifest elevation while entertaining destruction.

Elevation requires alignment. If your actions don’t line up with what you’re asking for, you’re going to stay stuck. James 1:8 says, “A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.” You can’t be double-minded and expect single-minded results. Wanting more while doing less leads only to frustration. You’ve got to shift not just your prayers, but your posture—your focus, your circle, and your discipline.

Distractions don’t always show up dressed in sin—sometimes they come disguised as “good things” that simply aren’t God things. Hebrews 12:1 reminds us, “Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and run with endurance the race that is set before us.” Some of us are stuck not because of outright sin, but because we’re carrying unnecessary weight—people, patterns, or priorities that don’t serve our purpose.

My beloved brothers and sisters—no cap—if you’re serious about elevation, it’s time to lock in. Set boundaries. Protect your time. Invest your energy where it counts. Stop pouring into what God has already called you to walk away from. Elevation isn’t just about going higher—it’s about getting lighter. Watch this, in order to climb high, you’ve got to carry less and at the end of the day, your energy has to match your intentions.

Pray With Me:
Father God, help me align my energy with the intentions You’ve placed in my heart. Expose the sin and distractions in my life—no matter how subtle—and give me the strength to walk away from anything that keeps me from Your plan and purpose. Teach me to steward my time, my focus, and my relationships in a way that honors You. I don’t want to just talk about elevation—I want to live it. Holy Spirit, shape my habits to match the future You’ve prepared for me—even before the foundation of this world. In Jesus’ name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

God Is Still In Control!

For some of us, it’s hard to tell who’s winning when we turn on the news it feels like the world is on fire. One headline says progress, the next says chaos. One day it’s hope, the next it’s heartbreak. Political tension is rising, nations are at odds, the economy feels unstable, and society is more divided than ever. Fear is in the air. Confusion is on every channel. It’s easy to start wondering, “Who’s really in charge of all this?” But let me remind you of a truth that transcends every headline: God is still in control.

He’s not pacing the floors of heaven. He’s not reacting to breaking news. He’s not shaken by political and economic turbulence, social disparities, or global unrest. Psalm 103:19 declares, “The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and His kingdom rules over all.” That means over presidents, world leaders, and protests. Over wars and rumors of war. Over systems and structures. His rule is not up for vote or viral support, and His authority is not on a countdown.

As believers, we don’t place our ultimate hope in policies, parties, or powerful people—we place our hope in the unshakable, unchanging reign of God. Isaiah 9:6 calls Jesus the “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” And His government—unlike any earthly government—will never fail, never fall, and never fade.

So my beloved brothers and sisters, breathe. Rest your mind. Guard your heart. Don’t let the chaos of this world drown out the confidence you have in the Kingdom. God isn’t just watching history unfold—He’s still orchestrating it. He’s immutably sovereign, transcendently strategic, and still working all things together for good to those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Pray with me:
Father God, when the world feels out of control, remind me that You are still seated on the throne. Help me to anchor my trust in Your sovereignty, not in systems, policies, or circumstances. Give me peace in the midst of the storm, and boldness to live as a light in uncertain times. Let me not be consumed by fear or distracted by noise, but rooted in faith that You are still working, still reigning, and still in control. As Colossians 1:17 says, “He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” Lord, hold me together when everything around me feels like it’s falling apart. Hold my mind steady. Hold my spirit firm. I trust that because You hold all things, I am unwaveringly held secure in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Tables Turn!

Sometimes it feels like your prayers are hitting the ceiling. Like you’re crying out to God, but nothing’s shifting. You’ve been faithful in the secret place, sowing seeds of prayer when no one else was watching—and still, the breakthrough hasn’t come. But hear this today: your prayers are working, and the tables will turn.

The enemy wants you to believe that prayer is pointless. That it’s wasted breath. But Scripture tells a different story. James 5:16 says, “The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” Heaven hears you. God is not ignoring you—He’s moving in ways you can’t always see.

There’s a turning point coming. The same God who raised Lazarus after four days, who opened Sarah’s womb in old age, who set Joseph at Pharaoh’s table after prison—He is the same God who hears your prayers today. Don’t mistake silence for inactivity. God is working in the waiting, preparing a table in the presence of your enemies, just like Psalm 23:5 promises. You don’t have to force anything—just stay faithful.

There will come a moment when the “no” turns to “yes,” the closed door swings open, and the pain gives way to purpose. That moment is not just possible—it’s promised. Galatians 6:9 reminds us, “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Keep praying. Keep trusting. The tables are turning.

Pray With Me:
Father God, thank You that You hear every prayer I lift to You—spoken and unspoken. When I feel discouraged, remind me that You’re working even when I don’t see it. Strengthen my faith in the waiting, and help me to keep praying with expectation. I believe that what looks impossible to me is still possible with You. I trust You to turn the tables in my favor, not for my glory, but for Yours. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Feeling Vs. Truth

Let’s be real—our feelings are loud. No cap, some days they shout, “You’re not enough.” Other days they whisper, “God has forgotten you.” The enemy, the world, and even our own flesh constantly pull at us, urging us to focus on what we feel. And while feelings are real, they aren’t always trustworthy or reliable. That’s why God doesn’t call us to live by emotion—He calls us to live by truth.

Feelings can shift with circumstances, but God’s truth is unchanging and immutable. His Word is a steady anchor in the chaos of emotion. Jesus said in John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Not your feelings. Not your mood. The truth. And the truth is this: You are loved. You are chosen. You are forgiven. You are never alone.

When we follow our feelings, we often end up in fear, frustration, aggravation, discouragement, depression, and spiritual fatigue. But when we follow God’s truth, we find peace, direction, and hope. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Even when your heart feels heavy, God’s truth can lift you up. Even when your thoughts are confused, His Word brings clarity.

So today, my beloved brothers and sisters, choose to anchor your soul in what God says—not what you feel. Feelings may fluctuate, but truth remains firm. Isaiah 40:8 declares, “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God will stand forever.” Let God’s truth speak louder than your doubts and all worldly distractions. Let it rise above the noise of the enemy. Let it lead you when your emotions try to mislead you.

Pray with me:
Jehovah El Emet, God of trueness and faithfulness, thank You that Your truth is greater than my emotions. Help me not to be led by what I feel, but by what You’ve said. Teach me to discern the lies of the enemy, the world, and my
flesh and to stand on the unshakable foundation of Your Word. When my heart is anxious, remind me of Your peace. When I feel weak, remind me of Your strength. I choose today to walk by faith, not by feelings, and to cling to Your truth above all. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

It’s Still Gonna Happen!

I know—life hasn’t gone the way you planned. The vision you had for your future feels distant. The doors you prayed would open are still closed. The people you thought would stay have left. And somewhere between hope and heartbreak, you’ve quietly asked yourself, “Maybe it’s not going to happen after all.” But I came to remind you today: It’s still gonna happen.

God doesn’t change His mind because of delays. The promise He made over your life didn’t come with an expiration date—it came with a divine appointment. It may not come when you expected or how you imagined, but if God said it, He will do it. Numbers 23:19 says, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it?”

Even when things fall apart, God is still putting things together. He works behind the scenes, orchestrating the pieces you can’t see yet. Romans 8:28 reminds us, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.” What feels like a detour is often divine positioning. What looks like a delay may be God’s protection.

Don’t let discouragement drown out your expectation. You haven’t missed it. You’re not disqualified. If anything, the fact that you’re still here—still believing, still trying, still praying—is proof that the promise still lives. Habakkuk 2:3 says, “Though it lingers, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” God’s timing may not match your calendar, but it will always be perfect.

So lift your head. Straighten your shoulders. Keep sowing in faith, even when you don’t see the harvest yet. Your tears are not wasted. Your prayers are not forgotten. It’s still gonna happen—not because you deserve it, but because He promised it. And He’s too faithful to fail.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for being faithful, even when I feel faithless. Help me to trust in Your timing and rest in Your promises. When I’m tempted to give up, remind me that Your Word never returns void. Renew my hope today, Lord. Reignite my expectation. I declare Philippians 1:6 over my story because I believe what You’ve started in my life, You will finish. Strengthen my faith to keep walking, keep waiting, and keep believing—because I know it’s still gonna happen. In Jesus’ name, I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Chris Is Enough!

In a world that constantly urges us to define ourselves by our achievements, emotions, or knowledge, Charles Spurgeon’s words serve as a profound and timely reminder of where our true anchor lies: “My faith rests not in what I am, or shall be, or feel, or know, but in what Christ is, in what He has done, and in what He is doing for me.” These words challenge the noise of a performance-driven culture and gently call us back to the heart of the gospel—Jesus Christ Himself. When everything else around us shifts—our moods, our confidence, our understanding—Christ remains the same: faithful, unchanging, and deeply present.

This truth is powerfully confirmed in Hebrews 13:8, which declares, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Unlike our fluctuating feelings or the temporary security found in worldly success, Jesus is constant. He is the one foundation that never moves. No matter what season of life we find ourselves in—whether full of joy or weighed down by sorrow—our faith does not depend on our ability to be strong, but on His ability to be steadfast.

There is great freedom in this perspective. We are not saved or sustained by the strength of our feelings or the clarity of our understanding. Our hope is not anchored in our knowledge, our behavior, or our emotional highs. We are held by the finished work of Jesus on the cross, by His victory over sin and death, and by His ongoing intercession on our behalf. Even on the days when we feel weak, frustrated, confused, or unworthy, our foundation remains firm. Why? Because it is not built on us—it is built on Him. And what He builds, He sustains.

In short, my beloved brothers and sisters, the Apostle Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:8–9: “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” Our salvation is not a reward for our performance, nor is it a reflection of how well we measure up. It is the result of God’s incomprehensible grace, His undeserved mercy, and His unwavering commitment to love and redeem His people. This truth silences our striving and invites us to rest in the sufficiency of Christ.

Pray with me:
Lord Jesus, thank You that my faith does not have to rest on my performance, emotions, knowledge, or understanding, but on who You are. Thank You for Your unchanging nature, Your finished work on the cross, and Your continual presence in my life. Strengthen my heart when I feel weak, and remind me daily that You are enough. Help me to rest in the truth that I am loved and held—not because of what I do, but because of what You have done and who You are. In Your holy name, I pray, receive, believe, and praise. Amen.

i Speak Jesus!

There’s power in a name — but there’s matchless power in the name of Jesus. It’s the name that calms storms, casts out fear, and silences the enemy. When we speak His name, we’re not just saying words — we’re releasing heaven’s authority. So today, with everything happening around us, we boldly and broadly declare: “I speak Jesus over my family, my nation, Israel, and the world abroad.”

Specifically, I speak Jesus over my family — over the broken places, the silent battles, the weary hearts. Acts 4:12 reminds me that. “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” His name is stronger than every and anything we may face.. His name restores what’s been torn apart. His name covers my children, my marriage, my home, and my job.

I speak Jesus over my nation — over every city, courtroom, classroom, and Capitol Hill. I don’t place my trust in systems or politicians; I trust the One who sits on the eternal throne. 2 Chronicles 7:14 exclaims, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray… I will hear from heaven and will heal their land.” Our land may be divided, but His name is unifying. His justice is perfect. His mercy still flows.

And I speak Jesus over Israel and the world — over nations at war, over hearts in despair, over every soul that’s lost and searching. Philippians 2:9-11 says, “God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name… that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” This name reaches across land, oceans, and borders. No culture can contain Him. No government can silence Him. No darkness can stand against Him.

So today, say His name with reverence, boldness, and power. When fear speaks, say Jesus. When confusion rises, say Jesus. When you don’t know what to pray, whisper His name. Speak Him into your atmosphere — because the name of Jesus always bring healing, freedom, strength, comfort, power, and peace.

PRAY WITH ME:

Lord Jesus, Your name is my refuge and my banner of victory. I speak Your name over my family — bring healing, deliverance, and unity. I speak Your name over my nation — bring justices clarity, and revival. I speak Your name over Israel and the world — bring righteous justice, peace, salvation, and awakening. There is no name higher, stronger, or more beautiful than Yours. Let every heart bow and every tongue proclaim: You are Lord. And it’s in your name I pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen!

Happy Father’s Day!

“The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him.” – Proverbs 20:7 (NKJV)

This weekend, we pause to honor the fathers and father figures who have shaped our lives in ways both seen and unseen. To the men who rise early, work hard, pray faithfully, and give selflessly—you are the quiet strength behind so many families. Your leadership, your love, and your presence leave an imprint far deeper than you may ever realize. You teach us with your actions, guide us with your words, and lead us by example even when the road is hard. Your faithfulness matters, and we are grateful for you.

We also recognize the many ways fatherhood shows up in this world. It’s not just about biology—it’s about heart. To the stepfathers, uncles, grandfathers, coaches, mentors, and spiritual fathers who have stepped in to fill a gap—you are heroes in your own right. You chose to care. You chose to stay. You chose to lead. That choice is a reflection of strength and character. “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” – 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV)

But Father’s Day is also a tender time for many. For some, the ache of loss is fresh. For others, it lingers quietly year after year. So today, we also remember the fathers who are no longer with us. The ones who once held our hands, gave us advice, laughed with us, prayed for us, and loved us deeply. Though they may not be physically present, their love still surrounds us. Their wisdom still guides us. Their legacy still lives within us. “The memory of the righteous is a blessing.” – Proverbs 10:7 (ESV)

On this Father’s Day, we celebrate the men who lead with courage, love with humility, and serve with quiet strength. We give thanks for those who are still beside us, and we hold close the memories of those who have gone before us. May we honor them not just with words, but with the lives we live. “Children’s children are the crown of old men, and the glory of children is their father.” – Proverbs 17:6 (NKJV)

May God continue to strengthen our fathers, comfort those who grieve, and remind us all of the perfect love of our Heavenly Father. “As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him.” – Psalm 103:13 (NIV)

Happy Father’s Day and Happy Heavenly Father’s Day to the men who made us who we are. We see you. We honor you. We remember you. We love you. And above all, we thank God for you.
