Unbothered and Unphased!

Undoubtedly, a person who draws their strength from the Lord is like an eagle soaring above the storm. Their resilience comes from a source far beyond themselves, one that never runs dry, no matter how difficult the path may be.

Isaiah 40:31 beautifully captures this truth: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Unmistakenly, strength rooted in faith is unshakeable. When someone draws their strength from the Lord, they find resilience, hope, and peace that transcends any challenge. As it says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That kind of strength is enduring, no matter the trial, circumstance, or situation.

My brothers and sisters, ten toes down—standing on business—trust me when I declare that you simply can’t break a person who draws their strength from the Lord.!

Pray with me:

Father God, we come before You, acknowledging that all strength and courage flow from You. Your Word promises that those who wait upon You will find their strength renewed, able to soar like eagles and rise above any storm. Lord, I ask for that strength now—strength that endures, faith that grows deeper with every trial, and peace that passes understanding.

When we feel weary, remind us that You are with us. When our steps falter, lift us up. May we run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that You are our source of hope, perseverance, persistence, and resilience. Help us to fully trust in Your timing and to rest in Your promises, knowing that You will not let us grow faint.

Thank You, Jehovah-El Sali, for being our immovable rock and our unwavering refuge. No matter what, in every season, we place all our hope in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen and Amen!

Pick Up Your Cross!

After Jesus predicted His death to the disciples, He said these powerful and convicting words in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and pick [take] up his cross daily and follow me.”

The phrase “pick up your cross and follow me” is a reference to Jesus’ teaching in the Gospels, particularly found in the above passage of text in Luke and also in Matthew 16:24 and Mark 8:34. In this inspiring teaching, Jesus is instructing His disciples on the cost of following Him (aka) discipleship. The “cross” represents a burden or sacrifice, and in the context of first-century Rome, it was also a symbol of suffering and death, as crucifixion was a form of execution.

My brothers and sister (aka) cross bearers, when Jesus says, “pick up your cross and follow me,” He is calling each of us to be willing to endure challenges, sacrifice personal desires, worldly ambitions, and even face persecution for the sake of our immovable and unshakable faith. It’s an invitation to live selflessly, putting God’s will above personal comfort or gain.

In a broader sense, it’s about embracing the struggles and responsibilities of being a disciple, knowing that this path may require perseverance, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to one’s faith.

Additionally and lastly, picking up your cross also means daily surrender—dying to our selfish desires and seeking God’s forgiveness for the ways we fall short. Each morning brings a new opportunity to repent and realign our hearts with His will. As we seek forgiveness, we die to self, letting go of pride and sinful habits. This daily act of humility allows Christ to live more fully in us, shaping us into His image.

Pray with me,
Abba Father, we come to You today seeking forgiveness. Help us to die to self and walk in the newness of life You offer. Help us to embrace the challenges and sacrifices that come with living out our faith, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. Teach us to surrender our will to Yours, trusting that Your plans are greater than our own. Give us the perseverance to carry our burdens with love, grace, humility, and the wisdom to seek Your guidance in every decision. May we unwaveringly and faithfully follow You, reflecting Your love, grace, mercy, power, peace, and sacrifice in all that we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen, Amen, and Amen!

New Mercies Everyday!

No one is immune to sin! Fact is, the only sinless person to walk the face of this planet and died an horrific death and three days later left a borrowed tomb empty was Jesus Christ!

That being said, despite of faults, failures, and frailties, I am thankful to God that each day He faithfully offers us a fresh start, a new chance to experience His limitless mercy and boundless grace.

No matter how many times we fall short, God’s love remains incessantly constant, inviting us to return to Him and as we actively and faithfully seek His forgiveness daily, we are reminded of His faithfulness, not our failures.

Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us of this truth, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

So today my beloved brothers and sisters, take a moment to lay your burdens at His feet, trusting that His new mercies and grace will always meet you right where you are.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for Your never-ending mercy. Help me to walk in Your grace today, trusting in Your forgiveness and love. In Jesus name, amen and amen and amen!

God’s Glory…..

God’s glory refers to the manifestation of His divine presence, majesty, and holiness. It is the supernatural radiance of His perfect love, goodness, compassion, character, faithfulness, power, and beauty that inspires worship and awe.

In Exodus 33:18-19 Moses said, “Please, show me Your glory.” And He [God] said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you My name ‘The Lord.’”

Moses’ request to see God’s glory came from a deep desire to know God more intimately. He had already seen the Lord’s miracles in Egypt and experienced His presence in the wilderness, yet he longed for more. What Moses asked for wasn’t just a display of power, but the fullness of God’s love, character and goodness. In response, God reveals His name, His compassion, and His faithfulness.

Like Moses, we often find ourselves in moments of longing—longing for a sense of purpose, assurance of God’s presence, or clarity in the midst of chaos. When we ask God to show us His glory, we are not merely seeking signs and wonders but His presence, His goodness, and His love to fill every area of our lives. God is always faithful to reveal Himself to those who seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13 affirms, “You will seek Me and find me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

My beloved brothers and sisters, Sometimes God shows His glory in the stillness, through peace in a storm, or in the gentle reminders of His grace. Therefore, as we go through our day, let us not just look for the extraordinary, but also recognize His glory in the ordinary—the kindness of a stranger, the beauty of creation, or the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. His glory is all around us, waiting to be seen by eyes of faith.

Pray with me:

Abba Father, we echo Moses’ prayer today: Show us Your glory. Reveal Your goodness and compassion to us in the moments of our lives, both big and small. Open our eyes to see You at work, and give us hearts that are sensitive to Your presence. May we experience the depth of Your love and be transformed by the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer Praise Lifestyle!

Prayer is the heartbeat of a life connected to God. It’s more than a ritual or an obligation—it’s an intimate conversation with our Creator, a time when we can pour out our hearts, seek guidance, and rest in His presence. As prayer becomes a daily habit, something transformative happens: our eyes are opened to the countless blessings and mercies around us. The more we pray, the more we see His hand at work, and this stirs in us a natural response—praise.

When prayer is woven into the fabric of our lives, praising God becomes a lifestyle, not just an occasional song or Sunday morning routine. Praise flows from a heart that knows God’s goodness, even in the midst of trials. It’s an act of faith, acknowledging that He is sovereign, loving, and always at work for our good. In moments of joy, praise comes easily. But even in seasons of hardship, a prayerful heart learns to praise God for His presence, for His promises, and for the strength He provides.

Psalm 22:3 reminds us that, “God inhabits the praise of His people” and as you should know, “For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:7).

My beloved brothers and sisters, a life of prayer and praise shifts our perspective. It moves us from focusing on the struggles to focusing on the Savior. It turns our hearts from complaint to contentment, from worry to worship. We become more aware of God’s nearness, His grace in every detail, and His peace that surpasses understanding.

Prayer with me:

Lord God, please teach me to pray without ceasing, to seek You in every moment, and to find joy in Your presence. Let my heart be filled with praise, even when the path is difficult, and help me trust in Your goodness. May my life be a reflection of Your love and a testimony of Your faithfulness. Amen.

When prayer becomes a habit, and praise a lifestyle, we live in constant communion with God, trusting Him in every season, and rejoicing in His grace every step of the way.

The Unclear Journey!

Regrettably, there are ambiguous times in life when the path in front of us isn’t fully clear. In times like these, trusting God becomes both an arduous challenge and an exciting opportunity for growth. Like the psalmist says in Psalm 119:105, God’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. This suggests that sometimes, God only reveals the next step, not the entire journey.

Undoubtedly, when we face uncertainty, it’s easy to feel lost, anxious, or even afraid. But God calls us to trust Him, even when we don’t understand where He is leading. His plans for us are always good, even when they seem hidden (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust doesn’t require knowing all the details—just knowing the One who authored all the details.

So, my brothers and sisters, let me ask you a question: are you in a season where the future feels uncertain? If that’s you, I invite you to take a little time today even if it’s for five minutes to surrender those concerns (big or small) to God. He knows the way, and He is faithful to guide you step by step. Trusting Him with the unknown allows you to live in peace, even in the midst of confusion, ambiguity, or doubt. Ask God to strengthen your trust in His plans and give you the patience to walk at His pace.

Finally and lastly, never forget this; faith doesn’t mean having all the answers—it means trusting the One who does.

Pray with me:

Father God, I don’t always know where You are taking me, but I trust You. Help me to rely on Your guidance and not on my own understanding. I surrender my worries, doubts, fears, and my future to You, believing that You are leading me with love, provision, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pray W/O Ceasing!

Undoubtedly, our individual journeys are filled with mountaintops and valleys, triumphs and trials. On the mountaintops, when everything is going well, it’s easy to rejoice and give thanks. We feel blessed, confident, and secure. Yet, in the valleys—on the days when the weight of the world is heavy on our shoulders—prayer becomes our lifeline.

However, the Bible encourages us not only to pray in difficult times but to make prayer a daily habit, woven into every moment, whether we are on the mountaintop or in the valley. Why? Because prayer aligns our hearts with God’s will. It invites Him into every detail of our lives, allowing us to experience His presence in the good and the bad.

I Thessalonians 5:16-18 affirms and confirms, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

On the tough days, when you feel broken or lost, prayer lifts you up, reminding you that God is near, offering strength and peace. On the best days, when life feels rich with blessings, prayer grounds you, keeping you humble and mindful that every good thing comes from God. Ecclesiastes 7:13-14 put it this way, “Consider the work of God, for who is able to straighten what He has bent? In the day of prosperity be happy, but in the day of adversity consider— God has made the one as well as the other. So that man will not discover anything that will be after him.”

My beloved brothers and sisters, God wants a relationship with us that is constant, not conditional. Despite our disappointments, failures, and problems; we are called to “pray without ceasing” because this intimate communication with Him transforms our hearts, keeps us focused on His promises, and reminds us of His faithfulness in every season.

So today, whether you are rejoicing or mourning, hopeful or anxious, remember to pray. Let every breath be a reminder that God is with you, guiding your steps and through every season, good or bad, prayer helps us stay grounded and connected to God.

Pray with me:

Abba Father, help us to be constant in prayer through every season of our life. On our hardest and most painful days, draw us closer to You, and on our best days, remind us to give thanks. Let our hearts be open to Your voice, and may we incessantly seek Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen and Amen!

Never Alone With God!

Regrettably, life often brings us to moments where the road ahead seems uncertain, unclear, and we feel overwhelmed by the weight of our struggles. In these moments, it can feel like we are standing in the middle of an insurmountable storm, unsure of how to move nor press forward. But remember this: God did not bring you this far to abandon you.

In moments like these Deuteronomy 31:8 gives us this assurance, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

The Bible repeatedly reminds us that God is faithful. He is not surprised by our hardships, nor is He absent in them. As He led the Israelites through the wilderness, He leads us today through the deserts and valleys of our own lives. The same God who parted the Red Sea and provided manna from heaven is the One who stands by you now.

There may be times when the path forward seems invisible—when you’re unsure how healing, provision, or peace will come. Yet, God promises that He will make a way, even when there seems to be no way. His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and His plans are beyond what we can comprehend. Our job is not to understand every step, but to trust the One who orders our steps.

My beloved brothers and sisters, no one is immune to hardships, difficulties, and unexpectedness. Therefore, whenever you find yourself in the middle of an arduous battle, remind yourself that God’s presence is with you. You are not walking this journey alone. Take time to pray and ask God to show you His way through your challenges. Even when the path is unclear, trust in His perfect timing and plan.

Additionally and lastly, I invite you to reflect on the times God has already led you through hard situations. His faithfulness in the past is a testament to His faithfulness today and in the future. Also, remember God did not bring you this far to leave you or forsake you. Things might be hard for you to handle, but God will still make away. He is always working behind the scenes, orchestrating things for your good and His glory.

Pray with me:
Most High God, thank You for Your faithfulness. Even when the road is difficult and unclear, I trust that You are with me, guiding me through every challenge. Help me to rely on Your strength and not my own. I believe that You will make a way where there seems to be no way. In Jesus’ name, amen and amen and amen!

Loved By God!

One of the most powerful truths in our faith is the understanding that we are loved by God. I John 3:1 confirms this scriptural truth and the word of God says, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”

Here’s the kicker, God’s love is not earned by anything we do, nor is it diminished by our failures. It is a steadfast, unwavering love that God freely gives. His love is so immense that He calls us His children, and He desires an intimate, personal relationship with each of us.

We can also find assurance in Lamentations 3:22-23, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness”.

My brothers and sisters, when life feels overwhelming, or when we fall short of who we are called to be, it’s easy to forget this truth. Yet, God’s love is not dependent on our performance. He doesn’t love us because we are perfect; He loves us because we are His. Here’s an even bigger kicker, His love for us was fully demonstrated when He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for our sins, so that we might live in eternal relationship with Him.

With that being said, I invite you to take a moment out of your busy and hectic schedule to reflect on how deeply you are loved by God. His love isn’t just a concept; it’s real, it’s active, and it’s profoundly present in your life. Whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or the peace that passes understanding in the midst of trials, His love shows up in ways both seen (naturally) and unseen (supernaturally).

Lastly, when we rest in the truth of God’s love, it gives us strength to face the challenges of each day. It gives us a sense of worth that no other relationship or achievement can provide. And it calls us to love others as we have been loved—selflessly, sacrificially, and unconditionally.

Prayer with me:
Thank You, God, for Your perfect love. Even when I feel unworthy, You remind me that I am Your beloved child. Help me to rest in that love today, and to share it with those around me. Let Your love guide my thoughts, actions, and words. In Jesus name, amen!

Names Of God (Pt 6)

Each name of God reveals a profound truth about His nature and His relationship with us. Through “Jehovah-Raah,” “Jehovah-Hoseenu,” “Jehovah-Eloheenu,” and “Jehovah-Shalom,” we see Him as our loving guide, Creator, Sovereign Ruler, and source of Peace.

Psalm 23:1 declares, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” As Jehovah-Raah, God is the Shepherd who cares for, guides, and protects His sheep. He leads us through both still waters and dark valleys, always ensuring our needs are met and that we are never alone. His love is tender and constant.

When life feels uncertain, remember that Jehovah-Raah is leading you. He knows the way and provides for every need.

Psalm 95:6 says, “Let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” Jehovah-Hoseenu is the One who formed us with purpose and intention. We are His craftsmanship, created in His image. He knows us intimately and has designed us for a life that glorifies Him.

If you ever question your worth or purpose, take comfort in knowing that Jehovah-Hoseenu crafted you with great care and purpose.

In Deuteronomy 6:4, we read, “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.” Jehovah-Eloheenu speaks of God’s sovereignty and lordship over our lives. He is not only our Creator but also our ruler and King. Submitting to His lordship brings alignment with His will and blessings in our lives.

In moments of decision, seek Jehovah-Eloheenu. His wisdom and authority are perfect, and He leads us in the right way.

Y’all remember when Gideon’s army was dwindled down from 10,000 men (aka kneelers) to a God chosen elite force of 300 alert soldiers (aka lappers)! Well during times of fear, anxiety, distress and uncertainty, Gideon had to called upon Jehovah-Shalom in Judges 6:24, saying, “The Lord is peace.” In a world full of chaos and unrest, Jehovah-Shalom provides a peace that transcends understanding. He calms our hearts and minds, offering a deep inner rest that only He can give.

When fear, anxiety, distress, and uncertainty try to overwhelm you, turn to Jehovah-Shalom. His peace will guard your heart and mind.

Well, my brothers and sisters, this concludes our six part series, but I wanted you to remember that every name of God offers us something powerful, insightful, and wonderful: the guidance of a Shepherd, the purpose from our Maker, the sovereignty of our Lord, and the peace of our Savior. These truths are meant to be lived out daily, providing us with strength, comfort, peace, wisdom, hope, and assurance.

Take a moment to reflect on which aspect of God’s nature you need to embrace today. Trust in His shepherding care, find rest in His peace, and live under His lordship, knowing that He made you for a divine purpose.

Prayer with me:
Jehovah-Raah, guide us through every path we walk. Jehovah-Hoseenu, remind us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Jehovah-Eloheenu, we submit to Your perfect lordship, and Jehovah-Shalom, fill our hearts with Your peace. In all things, we trust in who You are. In Jesus name, Amen and Amen, and Amen
