Purpose In The Pause….

Let’s be honest, waiting is one of the hardest things we experience in our walk with God. In a world that demands instant results and immediate gratification, being asked to “wait” can feel frustrating and disheartening. Yet, it’s in these moments that God invites us to trust Him more deeply, even when we can’t see the full picture.

The Bible is filled with stories of waiting. Abraham and Sarah waited 25 years for their promised son, Isaac. Joseph spent years in slavery and prison before his God-given dreams came to pass. The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40+ years before reaching the Promised Land. Even Jesus, who was fully God in the flesh, waited 30 years before starting His ministry.

Undoubtedly, when God says “wait,” it’s not necessarily a denial but a divine delay. It’s in these seasons that He molds us, strengthens our faith, and prepares us for what’s ahead. Waiting is not wasted when we fully place our trust in God, because He uses that time to grow our character and deepen our relationship with Him.

My beloved brothers and sisters, when God requires a waiting period trust and believe that He is working behind the scenes (Jer 29:11), He is building our faith (Isa 40:11), His timing is always impeccably perfect (Ecc 3:11), and there is a purpose in the pause (Ps 46:10).

Regrettably, when we don’t see immediate results, we may feel like God is silent or inactive. But remember, He is always at work behind the scenes. Like a master artist crafting a masterpiece, God is putting together every detail of your life, even the parts that don’t make sense right now (read Psalm 139:16).

Additionally, God uses ‘waiting, seasons to refine us. It’s in these moments of uncertainty that our faith is stretched, solidified, and strengthened for the next leg in our earthly journeys. When we choose to trust God even when the answer is “wait,” we grow in patience, endurance, and dependence on Him. We learn that His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Lastly, in the “waiting”, God invites us to be still and draw near to Him. Sometimes, He calls us to rest and find peace in His presence rather than striving for answers or solutions. In these quiet moments, God reveals His heart to us, teaching us to rely on Him solely, wholly, entirely, and completely.

Pray with me:

Father God, waiting is hard, and sometimes (as You know) we struggle to understand Your plan. Help us to trust You even when the answer is “wait.” Remind each of us there is a purpose in the pause and that Your timing is impeccably perfect, and Your plans are always good. Give us patience, endurance, and faith to believe that You are working all things together for our good, even when we can’t see it. Strengthen us in the waiting, and help us draw closer to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let Us Pray!

Let us pray:

Elohim Shomri, we come humbly before You, lifting up President-elect Donald Trump as he prepares to lead. We ask, Lord, that You place a mighty hedge of protection around him, surrounding him with Your angels and guarding him from all harm. Shield him from anything that could hinder or endanger him, whether physical, spiritual, mental, psychological, or emotional.

Abba Father, we pray that You protect his heart and mind. In the midst of pressures, challenges, and responsibilities, grant him peace and focus that only You can provide. Let his mind be filled with Your wisdom, his heart with compassion, and his words with truth. Lead him to make decisions that will honor You, and may he seek Your guidance above all else.

As it is written in Daniel 2:21, “He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” We acknowledge that You, Lord, are the ultimate authority, and it is by Your will that leaders are raised up. We pray that You would grant him wisdom and understanding as he steps into this role for the second time, in alignment with Your will, plan, and purpose.

Surround him with cabinet advisors who walk in integrity and are committed to serving the people of America with honor and humility. Give him discernment to recognize wise counsel and the strength to make tough choices for the good of the nation. Where there is division, we ask that You guide him to be a light and an instrument of unity and healing.

We pray against any evil forces, influences, or schemes that seek to bring harm or discord. May Your protection be a fortress around him, granting him resilience and courage. Lord, cover him and his family, and may Your hand be upon them in every step of this journey.

Above all, Father, let Your will be done. Lead him, guide him, and use him to serve as an instrument of Your purpose. We place him in Your hands, trusting fully in Your wisdom, Your power, and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen and Amen, and Amen!

Prosper In Christ!

God desires for us to prosper—not only in our finances or health but also in our spirit, relationships, and purpose. True prosperity begins in our soul. When our heart aligns with God’s will, seeking His guidance in all areas of life, He provides everything we need for a life of fulfillment. In Jesus’ name, we are more than conquerors, capable of thriving even in challenges.

Apostle John said this in 3 John 1:2, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”

To prosper in Jesus’ name means allowing Him to shape our path, relying on His wisdom, and trusting His provision. Our faith becomes the fertile ground where God plants blessings, allowing us to grow in joy, peace, and abundance.

My beloved brothers and sisters, I challenge you to take time to list areas where you need prosperity—spiritual growth, health, relationships, or career. Invite Jesus into each area, committing them to Him, and watch as He begins to work for your good. In Jesus’ name, I pray that you and I both continue to prosper and thrive in all that we do….for His glory and our good!

Pray with me:
Abba Father, thank You for Your promise of prosperity and abundance in every area of my life. I trust in Your word and stand in faith that the Holy Spirit will guide us toward success and fulfillment. Help us to daily seek You first in all we do, knowing that as our souls prospers, so will our lives. In Your powerful name, Jesus, we earnestly and fervently pray. Amen and Amen and Amen!

Genesis 1:1

Genesis 1:1 unapologetically declares, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” After reading this single passage of text, I would like for each of us to pause for a moment and look around…WHOA…the beauty of a sunrise, the symmetry in a leaf, the order of the seasons, and the precise way the universe functions—all point to a Creator. As humans, we’re continually drawn to beauty, harmony, and purpose. But where does this desire for order and meaning come from? If we reflect on the complexity of creation, we see how incredible it is that life exists with such purpose and precision.

My brothers and sisters, the point of today’s brief word of encouragement is to point out that non-existence cannot produce existence. This means that something greater, something eternal, must have initiated it all. Similarly, chaos alone does not create order. Behind the intricate design of nature and the universe, there is an Orchestrator—a loving God who not only created but sustains everything in perfect balance.

Undoubtedly, sometimes we face moments of confusion or feel surrounded by chaos, questioning if there is any order or purpose in our lives. In those times, remember that the same God who brought light out of darkness can bring peace and clarity to our hearts. He has woven order and purpose into creation and into our lives.

Unequivocally, God is the Source of all existence and the Author of order. He is with us in every moment, guiding us towards His purpose.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for being the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Help us all to recognize Your handiwork in the world around us and to feel Your peace amid life’s chaos. Remind us that our lives hold meaning and purpose, and that You are always near, bringing order and beauty from confusion. Open the eyes of our hearts and strengthen our faith, so that we may see You as You truly are and trust fully in Your presence and Your plan. In Jesus’ name, amen!

Peaceful Living!

Remarkably, God’s presence has the power to heal old wounds, bring clarity and purpose to each day, and inspire hope for what lies ahead. This reminder encourages faith that He’s actively working in every season of life.

Jesus affirms this in John 14:27, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Refreshingly, Jesus speaks these words to His disciples just before His departure, knowing they would soon face challenging days. In this promise, He reassures them—and us—of a unique peace that only He can provide. Unlike the world’s temporary solutions, His peace settles deep within our hearts, grounding us in His love and protection.

Undoubtedly, when we look to the past, we might feel pain or regret, but God’s peace can heal and help us let go. In our present, He offers us purpose, guiding each step as we trust in His plan. And for the future, He gives us hope that surpasses any fear or uncertainty.

My beloved brothers and sisters, I challenge you to take a moment everyday to reflect on an area of your life where you need God’s peace. Surrender it to Him, knowing that He can bring healing, purpose, and hope to every part of your journey.

Pray with me:

Father God in heaven, we thank You for Your peace that calms our hearts and strengthens our spirits. Help us to boldly release the past into Your hands, embrace the purpose You have for us today, and to faithfully look toward the future with hope. Let us carry Your peace in all we do, trusting that You are with us always. In Jesus peace inviting and invoking name, Amen!!

Unbothered and Unphased!

Undoubtedly, a person who draws their strength from the Lord is like an eagle soaring above the storm. Their resilience comes from a source far beyond themselves, one that never runs dry, no matter how difficult the path may be.

Isaiah 40:31 beautifully captures this truth: “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”

Unmistakenly, strength rooted in faith is unshakeable. When someone draws their strength from the Lord, they find resilience, hope, and peace that transcends any challenge. As it says in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That kind of strength is enduring, no matter the trial, circumstance, or situation.

My brothers and sisters, ten toes down—standing on business—trust me when I declare that you simply can’t break a person who draws their strength from the Lord.!

Pray with me:

Father God, we come before You, acknowledging that all strength and courage flow from You. Your Word promises that those who wait upon You will find their strength renewed, able to soar like eagles and rise above any storm. Lord, I ask for that strength now—strength that endures, faith that grows deeper with every trial, and peace that passes understanding.

When we feel weary, remind us that You are with us. When our steps falter, lift us up. May we run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that You are our source of hope, perseverance, persistence, and resilience. Help us to fully trust in Your timing and to rest in Your promises, knowing that You will not let us grow faint.

Thank You, Jehovah-El Sali, for being our immovable rock and our unwavering refuge. No matter what, in every season, we place all our hope in You alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen and Amen!

Pick Up Your Cross!

After Jesus predicted His death to the disciples, He said these powerful and convicting words in Luke 9:23, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and pick [take] up his cross daily and follow me.”

The phrase “pick up your cross and follow me” is a reference to Jesus’ teaching in the Gospels, particularly found in the above passage of text in Luke and also in Matthew 16:24 and Mark 8:34. In this inspiring teaching, Jesus is instructing His disciples on the cost of following Him (aka) discipleship. The “cross” represents a burden or sacrifice, and in the context of first-century Rome, it was also a symbol of suffering and death, as crucifixion was a form of execution.

My brothers and sister (aka) cross bearers, when Jesus says, “pick up your cross and follow me,” He is calling each of us to be willing to endure challenges, sacrifice personal desires, worldly ambitions, and even face persecution for the sake of our immovable and unshakable faith. It’s an invitation to live selflessly, putting God’s will above personal comfort or gain.

In a broader sense, it’s about embracing the struggles and responsibilities of being a disciple, knowing that this path may require perseverance, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to one’s faith.

Additionally and lastly, picking up your cross also means daily surrender—dying to our selfish desires and seeking God’s forgiveness for the ways we fall short. Each morning brings a new opportunity to repent and realign our hearts with His will. As we seek forgiveness, we die to self, letting go of pride and sinful habits. This daily act of humility allows Christ to live more fully in us, shaping us into His image.

Pray with me,
Abba Father, we come to You today seeking forgiveness. Help us to die to self and walk in the newness of life You offer. Help us to embrace the challenges and sacrifices that come with living out our faith, knowing that You are with us every step of the way. Teach us to surrender our will to Yours, trusting that Your plans are greater than our own. Give us the perseverance to carry our burdens with love, grace, humility, and the wisdom to seek Your guidance in every decision. May we unwaveringly and faithfully follow You, reflecting Your love, grace, mercy, power, peace, and sacrifice in all that we do. In Jesus’ name, Amen, Amen, and Amen!

New Mercies Everyday!

No one is immune to sin! Fact is, the only sinless person to walk the face of this planet and died an horrific death and three days later left a borrowed tomb empty was Jesus Christ!

That being said, despite of faults, failures, and frailties, I am thankful to God that each day He faithfully offers us a fresh start, a new chance to experience His limitless mercy and boundless grace.

No matter how many times we fall short, God’s love remains incessantly constant, inviting us to return to Him and as we actively and faithfully seek His forgiveness daily, we are reminded of His faithfulness, not our failures.

Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us of this truth, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

So today my beloved brothers and sisters, take a moment to lay your burdens at His feet, trusting that His new mercies and grace will always meet you right where you are.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for Your never-ending mercy. Help me to walk in Your grace today, trusting in Your forgiveness and love. In Jesus name, amen and amen and amen!

God’s Glory…..

God’s glory refers to the manifestation of His divine presence, majesty, and holiness. It is the supernatural radiance of His perfect love, goodness, compassion, character, faithfulness, power, and beauty that inspires worship and awe.

In Exodus 33:18-19 Moses said, “Please, show me Your glory.” And He [God] said, “I will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim before you My name ‘The Lord.’”

Moses’ request to see God’s glory came from a deep desire to know God more intimately. He had already seen the Lord’s miracles in Egypt and experienced His presence in the wilderness, yet he longed for more. What Moses asked for wasn’t just a display of power, but the fullness of God’s love, character and goodness. In response, God reveals His name, His compassion, and His faithfulness.

Like Moses, we often find ourselves in moments of longing—longing for a sense of purpose, assurance of God’s presence, or clarity in the midst of chaos. When we ask God to show us His glory, we are not merely seeking signs and wonders but His presence, His goodness, and His love to fill every area of our lives. God is always faithful to reveal Himself to those who seek Him. Jeremiah 29:13 affirms, “You will seek Me and find me when you seek Me with all your heart.”

My beloved brothers and sisters, Sometimes God shows His glory in the stillness, through peace in a storm, or in the gentle reminders of His grace. Therefore, as we go through our day, let us not just look for the extraordinary, but also recognize His glory in the ordinary—the kindness of a stranger, the beauty of creation, or the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit in our hearts. His glory is all around us, waiting to be seen by eyes of faith.

Pray with me:

Abba Father, we echo Moses’ prayer today: Show us Your glory. Reveal Your goodness and compassion to us in the moments of our lives, both big and small. Open our eyes to see You at work, and give us hearts that are sensitive to Your presence. May we experience the depth of Your love and be transformed by the power of Your Spirit. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
