God Use People That Fail!

Undoubtedly, we have all been taught that failure(s) is a sign that we are not good enough. However, the Bible is filled with stories of individuals who experienced failure yet were mightily used by God. Today we will highlight the Apostle Paul, Apostle Peter, and Prophet Moses. If you don’t know Paul’s story I invite you to read Acts 9. However, check out God’s response to one of Paul’s failure (thorn) in 2 Corinthians 12:9, “’My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.”

Now I invite you to consider Peter, one of Jesus’ closest disciples. Peter was passionate and eager, but he failed Jesus at a critical moment by denying Him three times. Despite this, Jesus restored Peter and used him to build the early church (John 21:15-19).

Last but not certainly least, Moses, chosen to lead the Israelites out of Egypt, initially failed when he killed an Egyptian and fled to the desert. Yet, God called him back and empowered him to fulfill his destiny (Exodus 3-4).

My brothers and sisters, these rag-to-riches stories inspirationally and inspiringly remind us that our failures do not disqualify us from God’s purpose. In fact, they can become the very means through which His strength and grace are displayed. When we acknowledge our weaknesses and depend on Him, we allow His power to work through us. If you have experienced failure in your life I want you to remember that God’s grace is sufficient, and His power is perfected in your weaknesses. Remember that He can use your failures to fulfill His purposes.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for using imperfect people to accomplish Your perfect plans. Help us to see my failures as opportunities for Your grace and power to be revealed. Strengthen us in our weaknesses and use our lives for Your glory. In Jesus name, amen and amen!!

Stop Worrying, God Will Provide!

Life frequently presents us with challenges that cause us to worry and stress about the future. Feeling overwhelmed by uncertainties is natural. However, as believers, we are called to trust in God’s provision and care. The Apostle Paul, in his letter to the Philippians (4:19), assures them—and us—that God will meet all our needs. He wrote, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” The comforting news is that this enduring promise is not dependent on our circumstances or abilities but on the boundless riches of God’s glory in Christ Jesus.

My brothers and sisters, God’s provision goes beyond just meeting our physical needs. He understands our emotional, physical, mental, psychological, physiological, and spiritual needs as well. He knows every painstaking detail of our lives and cares deeply about us. This understanding should bring us comfort and peace, knowing that we are not alone in our struggles.

So, if this message resonates with you and you’re feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and anxious, I encourage you to take a moment to remember God’s faithfulness. Reflect on past instances where God has provided for you, even when the situation seemed impossible. Stop stressing and let these memories bolster your faith and trust in His promise. God already knows what you’re facing and He will provide!

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for Your promise to provide for all our needs. Help us to trust in Your perfect provision and not to be overwhelmed by the challenges we face. Remind us of Your past faithfulness and let it strengthen our faith in Your future care. We surrender our stress, anxiety, and worries to You, knowing that You are in complete control and will provide for us according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Pray With Me!

“Prayer does change things, all kinds of things. But the most important thing it changes is us. As we engage in this communion with God more deeply and come to know the One with whom we are speaking more intimately, that growing knowledge of God reveals to us all the more brilliantly who we are and our need to change in conformity to Him. Prayer changes us profoundly.” RC Sproul

There Is Power In The Name Of Jesus!

Philippians 2:9-11 reminds us, “Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

When I take a moment to reflect on these passages, I realize the unparalleled power and authority of the name of Jesus. It is not just any name; it is the name that God has exalted above all others. By calling upon the name of Jesus, we are invoking the power of the One who conquered sin and death on the cross at Calvary, leaving an empty grave behind (I Corinthians 15:57).

That being said, in Jesus name we have access to the following:

  1. Healing and Restoration: Acts 3:6: “Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.'” ——Through the name of Jesus, miracles happen. Physical, emotional, and spiritual healing are found when we pray in His name with faith.
  2. Protection and Deliverance: Psalm 91:14: “‘Because he loves me,’ says the Lord, ‘I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.'” ——There is protection and deliverance in the name of Jesus. When we face trials, calling on His name brings divine intervention and safety.
  3. Unity and Reconciliation: Ephesians 2:14-16 (NIV): “For He Himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.”

——The name of Jesus breaks down barriers and brings unity. In a world full of division, His name reconciles and restores relationships.

My beloved brothers and sisters, while this is not a comprehensive list of the powerful attributes of Jesus, one thing is certain: in Jesus’ name, we find victory over sin and death. His resurrection power is available to us, granting us the strength to overcome temptation and live righteously.

Pray with me:

Lord Jesus, we thank You for the power that lies in Your name. Help us to remember and rely on Your name in every situation we face. May Your name be glorified in our lives. In Your powerful name, we pray.

God Will Sustain Us!

Isaiah 46:4 reads, “I am your God and will take care of you until you are old and your hair is grey. I made you and will care for you; I will give you help and rescue you.”

This passage of text provides a comforting assurance from God about His unchanging nature and His unwavering commitment to His people. The verse emphasizes God’s lifelong care and sustaining power, highlighting His presence and support from our youth through our old age.

In this verse, God declares that His care extends throughout our entire lives. From our beginnings, He has been with us, and He promises to continue to sustain and rescue us even into our old age. This promise of perpetual care is a testament to God’s faithfulness, grace, mercy, promise, providence, protection, and His intimate involvement in our lives.

My brothers and sisters, God is our lifelong sustenance. As you know, life often presents us with various challenges and transitions—youth, adulthood, and old age each come with their own set of unique burdens. However, through every stage and facet of our lives, God’s assurance remains the same: He is with us, He will carry us, and He will sustain us. This promise should encourage us to trust Him not just in moments of crisis but throughout our entire journey.

If this passage of text speaks to you, I invite you to consider the stages of your life where you have experienced God’s sustaining power. Reflect on His faithfulness in past seasons and find assurance that His perennial care will continue on into the future. Recognize that no matter your age or circumstance, God’s promise to sustain and rescue you remains enduringly steadfast.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for Your promise to sustain, uphold, preserve, and carry us throughout our lives. Father God, Help us to trust in Your unwavering care and to find comfort in Your faithfulness. Teach us to lean on You in every season, confident that You will always be there to support, encourage, aid, and rescue us. In Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen and Amen!

All Aboard!!

As born again-dip in the blood believers, we know that our true destination is not of this world. Our ultimate goal is to reach Heaven and to dwell in the presence of our Lord for eternity. If your end goal isn’t to hear, “Well done good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21), you’re one of the reasons I still have a job to do!

Scripture reminds us that our citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20), and we are merely sojourners on this earth. Our time here is temporary, and we are called to live with an eternal perspective. This means focusing not just on the here and now but on the everlasting life that awaits us.

While we are on this earthly journey, we have a divine mission—to recruit others for the Kingdom of God. Jesus’ Great Commission calls us to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). We are ambassadors for Christ, sharing His love, grace, and truth with those around us. Every interaction, every act of kindness, and every word of encouragement can be an opportunity to point others towards the hope we have in Jesus.

My brothers and sisters, living with Heaven as our destination gives us purpose and direction. It shapes our values, our priorities, and our actions. We are to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength and to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:30-31). By doing so, we reflect the light of Christ in a world that desperately needs it.

Remember that we are not alone on this journey. God is with us every step of the way, guiding us, strengthening us, and providing for us. We also have each other, a community of believers, to support and encourage one another. Let’s stay focused on our heavenly destination, and let’s be diligent in recruiting others to join us in this incredible journey.

May we humbly live each day with the assurance of our heavenly home and the determination to bring as many people with us as possible. Heaven is not only a free gift paid for by Christ, it’s also the ultimate destination, and we are here recruiting for the Kingdom.

PS: This message has nothing to do with religion rather our relationship in Christ!

The True Vine 🌱

Jesus said, “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.” — John 15:5 (NIV)

In the hustle and bustle of daily life, it is easy to become self-reliant, thinking we can handle everything on our own. However, the truth is, we need Jesus every single day. Just as a branch cannot survive or bear fruit without the vine, we cannot thrive or fulfill our purpose without remaining connected to Christ.

Jesus’ words in John 15:5 remind us of our dependence on Him. He is the source of our strength, wisdom, and guidance. When we abide in Him, we find the nourishment our souls crave. Apart from Him, we can do nothing of lasting significance.

I invite you to reflect on your day-to-day activities and ask yourself, “Am I trying to go through life on my own strength, or am I staying connected to Jesus?” When we make time for prayer, immerse ourselves in Scripture, and seek His presence, we align our lives with His will. This connection transforms us, enabling us to bear the fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

My beloved brothers and sisters (aka branches), if you feel like you’re disconnected from the Vine (aka the Source of life), I invite you to take a moment to pause and reconnect with Jesus. Sometimes, it’s just as simple as acknowledging your need for Him in every aspect of your life. Whether you are facing challenges, making decisions, or simply going through the motions, invite Jesus to be your strength, wisdom, and guide.

Pray with me:

Father God, I confess that I often try to navigate life on my own. Jesus, help me to remember that apart from You, I can do nothing. I need You every single day. Holy Spirit, teach me to remain in Jesus, to draw my strength from Him, and to bear fruit that glorifies God. Thank You for being my constant source of strength, wisdom, and guidance. In Jesus name, amen, amen, and amen!

Pray Without Ceasing!

I am going to keep this message real short today.

Paul encouraged us in I Thessalonians 5:17 to, “Pray without ceasing.” That being said, with everything going on in our nation, I suggest that we continue feverently praying for ourselves and our families! It is only by faith and prayer, we can find strength, hope, comfort, and guidance in every situation.

Pray with me:

Father God, we come before You with grateful hearts, lifting ourselves and up our families in prayer. We thank You for the blessings You have bestowed upon us and ask for Your continued protection and guidance.

Father God, strengthen the bonds of love and unity within our family. Help us to support and encourage one another through all of life’s challenges. Grant us patience, understanding, and wisdom in our relationships.

We pray for those in our family who are facing difficulties, whether it be illness, financial struggles, or emotional burdens. Surround them with Your healing presence and provide them with the comfort and strength they need.

Father God, we ask that You fill our home with Your peace and joy. May we always seek You in prayer, trusting in Your divine plan for our lives. Help us to grow in faith and to rely on Your grace in every situation. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen and Amen and Amen!

Mended Hearts 💔

In times of heartbreak and sorrow, remember that God is the ultimate healer. Just as a master craftsman can restore a shattered vase, God can mend our broken hearts with His boundless love, mercy, comfort, and grace.

No matter how many pieces your heart is in, you must place every piece in God’s hands. Psalm 147:3 reminds us that, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Undoubtedly, God sees the entirety of your pain and knows the exact path to your restoration. All He ask us to do is to trust in His plan and let His love fill the cracks and crevices left by the hurt, pain, and disappointment.

Psalm 34:18 confirms, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” So, when we feel overwhelmed by the weight of our sorrows, it’s incumbent for us to remember that God’s presence is closest in our weakest, darkest, and distant moments. We must choose to cleave and lean on Him, and He promises to give us the strength to carry on and the courage to hope again.

My brothers and sisters, God personally invites His beloved children to lay all of their burdens at His feet. In His embrace, you will find the unshakable peace and undisturbed rest that your soul longs for. In Matthew 11:28 Jesus said, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” At the end of the day, despite the stage of your brokenness, we must all believe in God’s promise that He will never leave us nor forsake us, and let His love restore, repair, and mend our hearts back to fullness and wholeness. God can restore a broken and shattered heart, but He needs all the pieces. Henceforth, God’s restoration literally entails taking all of the broken pieces and making them better than they were before.

If I am speaking to you today, I pray these redeeming words bring you comfort and remind you of God’s unending love and unfailing healing power.
