No Greater Love!

There is no love greater than divine love from the Creator of the Universe (John 15:13). There is nothing like Divine Therapy to heal your heart, mind, spirit, and soul. Nobody can love us like God loves us and I think that’s why at times we feel so unloved and unwanted. We yearn for God’s love but we don’t recognize Him. We try to experience His love from people, possessions, and pleasures but nothing measures up…nothing truly satisfies. So we’re left constantly battling feelings of loneliness, unworthiness, and unlovability.

If that’s you today, I want to remind you that God’s love for you is boundless and nothing could ever separate you from His love(Romans 8:38). People may fail to love us the way we want them to love us, but God gives us more than what we could ever ask or imagine according to the glorious riches in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 3:20).

The reality is no one will ever care and love us like Jesus. It was Jesus that died and rose from the grave for our sins and on yesterday nearly 2 billion people celebrated the mere fact that we serve a Risen Savior.

In Christ, we will always be qualified to receive that agape love despite our imperfections and failures. Therefore, I encourage you (if you hadn’t already) to truly open our heart and receive His love today and I guarantee you that your life will never be the same.

He Is Risen 2023

Truly, Truly I say to you that Jesus is the Bread of life, the Light of the world, the Gate, the good Shepherd, the true Vine, the Truth, the Resurrection and the Life.

Salvation was the mission and love was the fuel that kept Jesus supernaturally focused, courageous, disciplined, and strong. Nothing was more important to Jesus than doing God’s will. Though He was tired, thirsty and hungry, God’s will was more important to Him than His own rest and personal comfort. He allowed nothing to stop Him from doing God’s business. John 4:34 confirms, “Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent Me, and from finishing His work.”

Because of His great love for God and all of humanity, Jesus was able to go to Gethsemane and pray, “Abba Father, everything is possible for You. Take this cup from Me. Yet not what I will, but what You will,” (Mark 14:36).

Undoubtedly, God gave Jesus the supernatural strength to accomplish the great work of salvation on Calvary and by doing so Jesus left us an example that we should follow in His steps (1 Peter 2:21). Therefore, we are to do His will the same way that He did the work God wanted Him to do.

I humbly encourage you on this Resurrection SONday to know God’s will, surrender your will to His, seek then to do His will and do it all by God’s grace and God’s strength!

He Walks With Me!

We are literally standing on edge of the precipice of the end times, but one thing I refuse to do is not acknowledge how good God is! Since the passing and spiritual commencement of my beloved embryo twin brother, the road I’ve traveled hasn’t been easy, but I am still here, I am still praying, and I am still praising God! The only reason I’m here today is because God is near to my broken heart and He is walking with me everyday!

That being said, if you have experienced any amount of brokenness please remember God’s word and His love can help you get through them. It may not feel as if spending time reading specific Bible verses for a broken heart or becoming intimate with Him through prayer and petition can solve the issues in your life, but doing so can help you through some of your toughest times and darkest nights. And although some may think that you have to have been settled in your faith for many years in order for God to heal your heart, all He really needs is for you to bring your cares to Him.

I Peter 5:7 of the Amplified Bible says, “casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].”

Beloved of God, if there’s no one who understands what you’re going through, the Bible reminds you that no matter how broken you feel, God is always there to see you through. So, if you need a bit of motivation or inspiration to get through your current heartache remember these words written by David in Psalm 34:17-22, “The LORD hears His people when they call to Him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed. The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! Calamity will surely destroy the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. But the LORD will redeem those who serve Him. No one who takes refuge in Him will be condemned.”

The Reality of Good Friday!

You may be off work today or getting off a little early, but I wanted to remind you and the world that nearly 2,000 years ago Jesus was condemned to a prisoner’s death, tortured, and nailed to an old rugged cross….this is the reality of Good Friday and the reason why we celebrate Resurrection SONday (aka) Easter Sunday.

In short, Jesus’ death on the cross and resurrection means that nothing can ever separate you from His love. Therefore, I invite you to join me in spending some time reflecting on that truth today.

Pray we me:
Lord Jesus, because of Your selfless sacrifice, I never have to experience separation from our Heavenly Father and for that reason, I thank You! Your death created a way for me to be adopted into Your eternal family, and to be provided for and protected by You. Therefore, no matter what I face today and for the rest of my natural life, help me to remember that You are with me, and You gave up everything to rescue me and all of Your sons and daughters in this world. Lord Jesus, I gladly and unrestrictedly give You all the praise, honor, and glory that You rightfully deserve and I say all of this in Your holy and righteous name, Amen, Amen, and Amen!

God Is Control!

We belong to God and He is in control of this planet not to mention the entire universe (known and unknown). If you have been paying attention, our world is increasingly becoming more and more wicked and there’s absolutely nothing we can do about it, but continue fighting the good fight of faith (2 Timothy 4:7). The good news is that God’s Holy Spirit lives in us and He is more than enough! I John 4:4 declares, “But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”

God is in control, meaning God knows what is happening. The struggles we face never catches God off guard.

However, things can get a bit crazy when you believe God is not in control. I’m here to tell you like Maury Povich, “that is a lie”…from the enemy! Whenever it seems or appears the trouble(s) we face is bigger than we can handle, remember our God created the world and is still in control. God is all powerful, all knowing, and all capable. He isn’t just the God of sometimes, but the God of always and forevermore!

Storm Ready!

When you face difficulties in this life, and you will, don’t run from God, rather RUN TO HIM, praising and thanking Him for all you have in Him despite the difficulties and hardship you are experiencing.

I get it, life is hard (for all of us) and sometimes it seems like there’s one storm after another. Whether it be an illness, and temptation, a toxic person, or a hundred other things, life is full of storms. The thing we have to remember when riding out these storms is God. When I feel like I am being thrown one thing after another and I can’t take it anymore, I encourage myself to remember that God will not put me through anything that He can’t pull me through. Psalm 107:29 says, “He stilled the storm to a whisper, the waves of the sea were hushed.”

This verse helps me remember that God is always in control, and He will carry me through anything I can’t carry myself through. All I have to do is have faith that does not waver during tough times, challenging seasons and/or circumstances.

If you or you know someone going through a plight, remind them or yourself that God will carry you through every storm and He will give you the strength to make it!

Unspoken Prayer Request

When you have unspoken prayer requests, or others ask you to pray for their unspoken needs, how can you pray? What can you say that expresses the wordless cry for comfort, assurance, peace, strength, or hope? Undoubtedly, God hears every groan we utter, but today I invite you to join me in reciting this intercessory prayer to help those with unspoken requests.

God Will Never Fail!

Literally, God promises are too numberous to list, but what we can deduce from His exhaustive list is that “God’s promises are always ‘Yes’ in Christ and ‘Amen’ to the glory of the Father” (2 Corinthians 1:20).

Joshua 21:45 firmly establishes this truth: God keeps his Word. Not one of God’s good promises has ever failed, not before the time of Joshua, not after, and not now. Additionally, in the NLT Isaiah 55:10-11 says, “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it.”

I know at times we may feel like God’s back in the day promises aren’t coming to past in our right now situation(s) however, scripture affirms time and time again that God never fails. We must remember in times of desperation, heartache, and grief that we may not be viewing God’s good and gracious purpose from our current vantage point.

Therefore, if you’re feeling hopeless and you believe that God has left you, I encourage you to take refuge in the pages of the Bible. God’s Word is indomitable, incorruptible, and infallible! It has stood the test of time and it still stands today and it will forevermore! It has been refined in the fire; it is pure, flawless, enduring, eternal, and empirically true. Let it be your shield. Let it be your source of hope, comfort, strength, and protection. Proverbs 30:5 says, “”Every word of God is flawless; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him” and Jesus said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.”

As God’s children, we can unequivocally stand firm in our faith (Luke 1:37). God’s covenant with us is not going to fail. His Word is flawless, right, true. His promises can be fully trusted, no matter what our situations or circumstances may be.

He Never Stop Working!

So the Jewish leaders began harassing Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules [by healing on the Sabbath]. But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.” John 5: 16:17 NLT

God, I do thank You that when I sleep, you do not. Thank You for working on my concerns, answering my prayers, sustaining your world, and doing your work while I sleep as well as when I’m awake. I cannot comprehend it, but I am truly thankful that You are the God who alone is indefatigable. Father God, unlike me, You do not tire nor grow weary in doing what is good and what is righteous. I humbly recognize that all the good things I have in my life have come because of Your umerited grace and mercy. I am forever grateful and I praise You for who You are; not just for what You do. Thank for You saving, sustaining, protecting, and preserving me. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name. amrn and amen!
