Built To Last!

“Built to Bend, Not to Break”

Beloved, life can’t break you because the One who made you built you to bend. You were never created to crumble under pressure—you were designed to grow stronger through every trial and to rise higher after every fall. The storms of life don’t define you; they refine you. What breaks others only builds those whose hope is anchored in God.

The Old Testament reminds us in Isaiah 40:31: “But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” And the New Testament echoes this truth in 2 Corinthians 4:8–9: “We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.” You may bend under the weight, but you will not break—because God’s strength holds you up.

So Beloved, don’t fear the stretch or the storm. Every test is shaping you, not destroying you. You were built with divine resilience. What the enemy meant to break you will become the very thing God uses to bless you.

Will you stop for one second and tell God, “Thank You,” for making you built to last?

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for making me strong enough to bend but not break. When life presses hard against me, remind me that Your strength is my foundation. Help me rise again after every fall, trusting that every trial is preparing me for greater purpose. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

Amen.

You Got It-Now What?

“What Do You Do After Getting What You Prayed For?”

Beloved, prayer is not just about receiving—it’s about remembering. Too often we plead with God for a blessing, but once it arrives, we move on without giving Him the thanks He deserves. The truth is, receiving from God is only the beginning; the real test is how you steward what He places in your hands.

After getting what you prayed for, don’t forget to give thanks. Gratitude keeps your heart humble and your spirit aligned with the Giver, not just the gift. Scripture reminds us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

But gratitude alone isn’t enough—you must also pray for discipline to keep it. Discipline is what sustains the blessing when the excitement wears off. Proverbs 25:28 warns, “Like a city whose walls are broken through is a person who lacks self-control.” Discipline builds the walls that protect your answered prayer.

And finally, pray for wisdom to multiply it. James 1:5 assures us, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.” Wisdom turns blessings into legacy, and gifts into fruit that lasts.

So Beloved, when God answers your prayer—pause. Thank Him (gratitude). Ask Him for the discipline to keep it, and the wisdom to multiply it. Because the blessing is never meant to stop with you—it’s meant to flow through you.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You for hearing and answering my prayers. Teach me not only to rejoice in the blessing but to walk in gratitude, discipline, and wisdom. May I honor You with what You’ve given me and multiply it for Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen!

You Are Worth More!

“You Are Worth More!”

Beloved, sometimes we question our worth. We compare ourselves to others, measure ourselves by achievements, or listen to the lies of the enemy. But Jesus reminds us in Luke 12:7: “Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

The Old Testament echoes this truth in Isaiah 43:4: “Since you are precious and honored in my sight, and because I love you, I will give people in exchange for you, nations in exchange for your life.” And in the New Testament, Romans 8:32 assures us: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?” If God paid the highest price for you through Christ, your worth is beyond question.

So Beloved, lift your head today. You are not overlooked. You are not forgotten. Every detail of your life matters to God, and your worth is far greater than you can imagine.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You that You know me so deeply and love me so completely. Help me to live with the confidence that I am precious in Your sight. Silence every lie of the enemy that tries to diminish my worth, and remind me daily that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Overthinking Is Overrated!

“Overthinking Is Overrated!”

Beloved, overthinking is the silent thief of peace. It replays the past, fears the future, and blinds us to what God is doing right now. The mind becomes loud, but the Spirit whispers, “Be still.” You can’t fix what only faith can heal. Pray, take appropriate action because faith w/o works is dead, and then leave it in God’s hands.

Isaiah 26:3 says: “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” This verse doesn’t promise peace because everything is calm; it promises peace because the heart is anchored in trust. The Hebrew phrase “perfect peace” translates to shalom shalom—a double portion of peace. That means a peace that remains even when life shakes. God’s peace doesn’t come from having all the answers; it comes from resting in the One who does.

And the New Testament echoes this in Philippians 4:6–7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Peace is not the absence of problems—it’s the presence of God in the middle of them.

So Beloved, release what’s weighing on your mind. Stop overthinking, start trusting. You can rest when you’ve prayed, because God never sleeps on your situation. His peace is already standing guard over your heart.

Pray with me:

Father God, forgive me for the times I’ve tried to figure out what only You can work out. Calm my racing thoughts and quiet my anxious heart. Teach me to fix my mind on You, that I may walk in perfect peace. I trust that You are already working on my behalf. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

More Than You Prayed For!

“You Got More Than You Prayed For!”

Beloved, very soon you will smile and say, “God, this is more than I prayed for.” That’s the nature of our Heavenly Father—He doesn’t just meet needs; He exceeds them. He delights in doing abundantly more than we could ever imagine.

Paul reminds us in Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” What you thought was enough, God calls the beginning. What you whispered in prayer, He multiplies with His grace.

Hannah prayed for one son, but through Samuel, nations were impacted. Solomon asked for wisdom, but God gave him wisdom, riches, and honor. The disciples brought Jesus five loaves and two fish, but He fed thousands with more left over. God specializes in more.

So Beloved, don’t lose heart in the waiting. Very soon, the same God who heard your quietest prayer will surprise you with blessings pressed down, shaken together, and running over. And when it happens, your smile will testify, “God, this is more than I prayed for.”

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You that You are the God of more. Strengthen me in the waiting and help me to trust that You are preparing blessings beyond what I can see or imagine. I look forward to the day I say with joy, “This is more than I prayed for.” In Jesus’ name we pray, believe, receive, and praise. Amen.

Love -&- Hate Can Never Be Friends!

“Love and Hate Can Never Be Friends!”

Beloved, love and hate can never walk in the same direction. They are opposites that cannot share the same heart. Where hate divides, love unites. Where hate destroys, love heals. To harbor both is to live in conflict, but to walk in love is to walk in God’s will.

The Old Testament tells us in Proverbs 10:12: “Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.” Hate multiplies problems, but love multiplies peace. And the New Testament reminds us in 1 John 4:20: “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.” Love and hate cannot live together—only love reflects God’s nature.

So Beloved, examine your heart. If hate has tried to take root, surrender it to God and let His Spirit fill you with love. Love and hate can never be friends—but love and grace can conquer anything.

Pray with me:
Father God, remove any root of hate from my heart and replace it with Your perfect love. Help me to walk in forgiveness, kindness, and compassion even when it is difficult. Let my life reflect Your love so clearly that hate finds no place within me. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.
Amen.

Tension Since Day One!

“What Tension Is As Old As humanity?”

That’s a great question Beloved and the answer is, the tension between grace and retribution. You see, Retribution demands repayment, a balancing of the scales by human hands. Whereas grace, on the other hand, releases the right to strike back and extends forgiveness that feels undeserved. Jesus Himself showed us this contrast: while the world cried out for justice at the cross, He responded with “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

In the Old Testament, we see the natural response of humanity—“an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth” (Exodus 21:24). Justice was immediate, clear, and measured. It gave structure to a broken world, but it never healed the heart.

Then, in the New Testament, Jesus raised the standard: “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). He shifted the focus from retribution to grace. Instead of balancing the scales with vengeance, He invites us to reflect the mercy we’ve received from God.

Paul echoed this when he wrote, “Do not repay anyone evil for evil… If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone” (Romans 12:17-18). Grace does not ignore wrongs—it releases us from the poison of revenge and places justice in God’s hands.

Here’s the deal and hopefully this truth will release some of tension that’s created when wrestling with these two. Grace doesn’t erase justice, but it allows God to be the ultimate judge while we walk free from the bitterness that revenge brings. Choosing grace is hard—it feels unfair. Yet it’s the very essence of the Gospel we’ve received.

So today Beloved, when you’re tempted to demand repayment for hurt, remember: God has already given you undeserved grace—so it’s best to extend it forward.

Pray with Me:
Lord, teach me to choose grace over retribution. Remind me of the mercy You’ve shown me, and help me reflect Your heart—even when it’s hard. In Jesus name we pray believe receive and praise in advance. Amen.

No One Curse!

“Who God Bless, No One Can Curse.”

Beloved, when God places His hand of blessing on your life, no enemy, no critic, and no curse can reverse it. The favor of God is greater than the plans of men and stronger than the attacks of the enemy. What He ordains, no one can overturn.

In the Old Testament, Numbers 23:20 declares: “I have received a command to bless; he has blessed, and I cannot change it.” Even the prophet Balaam had to admit that no curse could stand against God’s blessing. And in the New Testament, Romans 8:31 reminds us: “If God is for us, who can be against us?” When God blesses, opposition may rise, but it cannot prevail.

So Beloved, walk boldly in the blessing of God. Don’t waste energy fearing curses, negativity, or the words of others. Trust that the blessing of the Lord makes rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.

Pray with me:

Father God, thank You for Your blessing over my life. Remind me that no curse, no weapon, and no scheme of the enemy can overturn what You have declared. Help me to walk confidently in Your favor and to trust in Your unshakable promises. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.

Amen.

You Are an Overcomer!

“Be Stronger Than Your Excuses!”

Beloved, excuses are easy. They give us a way out, a reason to quit, or a justification for staying the same. But excuses never lead to growth; they only keep us from the life God has called us to live. When God calls you higher, you must be stronger than your excuses.

The Old Testament warns us in Ecclesiastes 11:4: “Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.” Waiting for perfect conditions or leaning on excuses only leads to missed opportunities.

The New Testament reinforces this truth. James 1:22 urges us: “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” And James 2:17 declares: “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” Real faith doesn’t sit idle—it moves. Real faith doesn’t just agree—it acts. Real faith refuses to let excuses keep it stuck. Because faith without action stalls, but obedience pushes past excuses and steps into God’s purpose.

So Beloved, silence your excuses with trust in God. Every time your flesh whispers, “I can’t,” let your spirit declare, “God can.” You are stronger than your excuses, because Christ’s strength and your obedience work hand in hand.

Pray with me:
Father God, forgive me for the times I’ve let excuses hold me back. Give me the courage to step out in faith and the discipline to follow through with Your calling on my life. Let my faith be alive—proven not just in what I believe, but in what I do. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.
Amen.

What You Are Made Of!

“It’s About What You’re Made Of, Not the Circumstances.”

Beloved, the same boiling water that softens the potato hardens the egg. The difference isn’t the heat—it’s what they’re made of. In the same way, life’s circumstances do not define your destiny. What matters most is the foundation of your faith and the strength of your spirit.

In the Old Testament, Psalm 18:2 declares: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Our strength is not rooted in what we face but in Who we stand on. And in the New Testament, James 1:2–3 reminds us: “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” Trials reveal not just where we are but what we’re made of.

So Beloved, don’t fear the boiling water—it cannot destroy what God has built inside of you. While circumstances may be heated, they are simply the environment where your true character and God’s power are revealed. Stand firm, because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.

Pray with me:
Father God, thank You that I am not defined by my circumstances but by Your Spirit within me. Strengthen me when the heat of trials rises around me. Help me to stand firm, remain faithful, and let my life reflect what You have built in me. In Jesus’ name, we pray, believe, receive, and praise.
Amen.
